I have seen seeds offered in Europe that are Super Silver Haze (a diluted haze at best) crossed with a Blue Berry. They call it Blue Dream. I have seen others call it Super Blue Dream. I have seen and smoked Super Blue Dream buds and they are frosty, indica leaning and not a fun high. They are liars and thieves calling it Blue Dream. Their web site has a beautiful woman with marijuana leaves on her breast. The Blue Dream nuggets are compact and frosty, but it does not stand out in a crowd, and is not the same high. I felt ripped of and I would never buy Super Blue Dream again. The seeds sold out of Europe are a pure counterfeit.

Now I study everything and I am growing Blue Dream. I love the strain and the high. It is an easy plant to grow and clone and has tremendous yielding power. Personally I cannot see anything wrong with selfing a clone to get seeds. I don't see why that would be a problem for over 90% of the growers out there. Most people don't want seeds so females seeds would work fine for them. It use to be female seeds cost more. When you go back to the seeds of blue dream you are opening up a lot of genetic diversity and could have some interesting pheno hunting adventures. You open up the blue berry diversity but more importantly you open up the Santa Cruz Haze diversity. That is the place where the original haze come from, that very town. That is the town of the Haze Brother and Sam the Skunkman.
So I am just saying, know your seeds. If you get something female that was made from the original clone (like the seeds I am making) you are going to get a good deal. But something that some pollen chucker makes from mixing just any blue berry and any ssh.
