It is doing good, I'm hoping it's close to done with the stretch, my light is as high as I can raise it. The flowers are building and are starting to get a little frosty. Think today is day 30. View attachment 4538923
Looking really nice! Coming on Strong!

Happy 4\20 :weed: bongsmilie8)

I’m having problems with circulation. The root ball is so massive in the bucket it’s causing the drip wring to slow to a trickle.

I slammed a 3 lb weight against the bucket and repeatedly pulled the driprings tube up and down to move the roots away.

my husband wants to know if we should cut some of the roots out to give more room.
we would have to cut the scrog screen off .

Or just suffer watching that slow drip drip drip when I know it can be a beautiful waterfall instead.

I had this same problem last time with the Northern Lights but it did not start happening until the last 3 weeks of her flowering.
With Blue it’s happening at the 18th day of flower.

how important is that fucking Drip ring really?

I have 2 big bubblerZ in both reservoirs.
Maybe that’s enough?

I would love to hear some suggestions and advice from all of you.

Thank you and I love you all!!!

Try running your level a little higher maybe. I know scottyballs theory was that was where it got the O2 but with all the bubbles you should have alot. When mine was really young, I ran a tiny pump in the remote res and pumped thru a 1/4" airline to the seedling, might be an option.

I have tried every imaginable combination of air levels. Nothing is working very well . I figure if I can keep bubbles , even at a minimum, at all three sites of air . The balance might be enough to keep things kosher.

Something that I did that might help you was I floomed the res by pushing air down into the view/drain tube using a 125 gph air pump. By forcing so much air into the very bottom of the res, the strength of the agitation might just help keep the roots from clogging up the uptake part of the drip ring tube. I'd give the roots a trim and then do what I just described. (the drip ring is buried under the hydroton)

Is she showing any I'll effects? I'll give you the same advice you gave me, dont take her out of the screen unless you have too...;) I would suggest just keeping a really close eye on her and if she starts to show signs that she's hungry then get more serious.

That sounds like a good idea. Thanks. What’s a good 125 ghp air pump?
your little seedling is so cute! Congratulations!!

I used the EcoPlus with twin outlets. One of them went into the drain tube and the other to a 4" disc in the res. The pump itself was a little noisy for the first few days and then it eventually settled into itself.

I'm glad that you like the little seedling. It was an auto and my first grow in a little over 20 years. I managed to get 3.5 ounces off of her which isn't too bad considering that she never got any taller than 11".

Thanks to all of you so much for your help and suggestions.

I figured it out.

they redesigned the water drip air supply connection in this new waterfarm I have now.

I was able to get away with the weak air flow using one bucket but it’s not enough air power when hooked up to the extra res. Too much pressure.

so like you mentioned *just be , I stuck the hose directly down the tube and remembered that the old design had the design where the hose went directly down tube to the water.

luckily I had a flat auger to use to cut a hole in the plastic drip ring top and feed the tubing down to the bottom.

the original tubing hole is left open and now it squirts out a little Yellowstone old geyser. It’s really funny.

I don’t have a cap for it yet . I guess I could caulk it up or something .

That’s for another day.
the drip ring works great now!

Awesome, glad that you got it figured out! One of these days I'm going to start a Team Waterfarm thread for all of us waterfarmers to come together.

Nice, check out this monster. This is green crack and actually the first seed I planted. I thought I killed it and almost gave up on it. It's in a 2x4x7 tall tentView attachment 4540430
What a beast! She’s gorgeous!

I can't help but wonder if the use of bennies would help to keep the size of the root mass in check since they're supposed to process any dead or dying root mass and turn it into plant food. I could be totally wrong but I just thought I'd put that out there.

I don’t think any of the roots are dying. They are exploding and have no where to go.
