Blue Dream & Alien OG

So I have 2 Blue Dreams and 1 AlienOG and they are all under only 2 20w cfls. BDs are 14 days today since popping the soil. AOG is 8 days from popping the soil. I don't know when I'll be getting another light (hopefully in a week or 2). My question for everyone is, should I keep all 3 in hope for another light soon? Or should I keep 1 of the three? Considering I only have 40w total of cfl right now I don't think it's going to work out with all 3. I made a dumbass mistake and lightly fed one BD and the AOG with some super low dose of super thrive. I know, way too early, don't know why I thought that was ok. But the BD tha was fed is showing some mute burn already and I imagine the AOG is going to do the same. And both BDs were FIMd yesterday.

So anyway, what do you all think. Ride it out with all three or keep the best ONE plant and give it all I can?

Thanks for that. I haven't done much research on the strains I have. I'm really pissed at myself for feeding the other two. But for only 40w of cfl, I don't think they are doing too bad either. Think I should keep all 3 in there or pull 2 and focus on the best one? Like I said idk when I'll be getting another light.

Just want to know what others would do in this situation. Veg all 3 as far as I can til I get a new light, or cut it down to one?

I would go to Home Depot and pick up a few more ballats and buy the brightest(lumens/k/watts) 6500K/3000K lights you could find... Then you need some good nutes...

Ya my last grow was 110w for one plant, and it did great, didn't have to feed until flower. But I got a lil to excited this go around and fed 2 of them and they are starting to show some nute burn. My real question is if anyone thinks I should trash the 2 burnt ones and keep the one good one, or ride it out with the lights I have and all 3 babies?

P.s. I know what lights (not ballasts) I need to get. If I had the money I wouldn't be asking opinions of others if I should keep all 3 under only 40w of cfl. I've never grown with less than 100w available. I just don't have the cash to get more lighting ATM. If I had my choice I'd have a 600w led panel and problem solved.

Thanks for the replies, question not answered still, but I really do appreciate the replies. (No sarcasm intended)

Here are some pics I took today after I got home. Only the Blue Dream is showing burn, not the AlienOG (smallest of the 3). I FIMd both of the BDs, the one that I didn't feed is showing better side growth production, but the one I fed seems to be a bit larger than the other.

Are they female seeds? Seems like you should wait until they show sex before you chop em down. Would hate for you to spend all that time on the one you picked as a keeper and then have it show you its nuts!

I know the last thing I wanna see from my plants are scrodums! No they are not feminized seeds. Just good seeds from a couple 1/8 bags of known genetics. And I would really hate to be wrong about the ONe plant. I have come across the same question to myself before, but idk when I'm getting more lights, and if the two that I so stupidly fed end up shriveling up, then I just waisted perfectly good growing lumens on 2 dead plants (if they don't pull through, I've never nuts burned a plant before). I was thinking that I could give all of what the 40w I have to offer to the one plant and hope it works out. I just know that 40w only goes so far. I guess I'll keep all 3 under there until they stop growing or the two fed plants don't recover. Hope i can get them to preflower without more lights. We will see!! Thanks for the input!

Since you can't get any other lights how about supplementing with sunlight? I know it is winter now but there is still 8-10 hrs to be had. Even if it is on the floor in front of a window and you follow the sun print across the room it will allow you to turn your light off for those hours and could knock your electric bill down enough to free up that money and go get an additional light.

I hadn't thought if it like that. I'll look around my place and see if I can find a spot I can supplement with. Thanks for that! Totally spaced that! Damn

Started LST today on all 3. I'll keep tying them back until flower. My last grow I didn't start as early as I had liked, but I think these are ready. They are a bit on the small side to get a good tie. But I got em laying down enough to get the side growth poppin!! Still in solo cups and still under 40w of cfl

image.jpgimage.jpgSo I just got a 2' 2bulb t5 fixture from a buddy. Got it all set up, but minus now the 2 20w cfls. Kinda just swapped 2 bulbs for 2 bulbs. But from my understanding, t5 s are much better than cfl. So whatcha think? Keep the t5s (eventually try to make a way to use the cfls, but with my wiring its not an option to run them at the moment.). Or keep the cfls and no t5s?

(don't know why my pics keep showing up upside down. F'n iPhone)

I would throw nothin away id live and learn I've had sticks come back to life and pull weight just a learning process in the beginning. i think my only problem was giving the plants to much attention

Ya I made to 2 20w cfls work with the t5. So that's 88w total. Not a bad start. Just have to figure out a light for flower. I'm not growing my plants very big. I just started LST so that'll help with the height. I personally would never throw shit away either. My last setup I had to give it ALL way cause I was moving. I had a 400w mh ballast with a 400w hps conversion bulb. 100w worth of CFO and a computer power supply and something like 5 fans running off it. Not to mention all the small misc. shit I had Latin around. Start back from sctratch with this grow with less money than before.
