Our friend Big Buddha*tells us about the making of*Blue Cheese:

"Our latest offering is the Blue Cheese. We started by growing between us, several different breeder versions of Blueberry. The resulting males all got crossed with our cheese female. The resulting seeds were then grown out and the resulting male was selected out of around 70 different blueberry x cheese males.
The Blue cheese is a very tight compact flower with a distinguished purple hues near finishing, the smell and taste is really funky indeed man, the body of the smoke is primarily cheese with a hint of blueberry fruit goodness, we have always loved Blueberry and its crosses but have never found a Blueberry which "hits" until now that is!! Everyone who has tried or have experience with the Cheese will be amazed by our Blue Cheese especially with its highly desirable resin content and flavour; generous yields assure us that this variety will become a future classic!".

A discussion on Blue Cheese

-------------------------------

the seeds your buying are only crosses of something with the original blue cheese, the pheno is the real thing
Good to hear from somebody who Knows what they r talking about, and not just what the seed companies tell them.

The 'Original' Blue Cheese that created all the hype is 'Clone-Only'. In order to get seeds from it then it had to of been crossed again.

BS again! UK Chz is clone only. Blue cheese is NOT a supierior strain. UK Chz? OK! But Buddah crossed the Blueberry in to the hybrid UK Chz. U just proved that with the Weedtracker post above^^^^^

I dont recall saying at any point it was superior or inferior..
I have seen a Youtube video of an entire warehouse filled with BlueCheese plants.

You see they crossed a Blueberry Male with the Cheese and then picked the best Blue-berry X Cheese Male of those seeds to back-cross with the original Cheese.
They then grew all of these seeds out and as they had previously done with the original cheese found a pheno-type so rare and different that it was not able to be matched by any.
THIS IS 'THE' BLUECHEESE!
If they bred it again (to get seeds) then there is no garuntee that it would pass on this rare pheno. (Hence the Clone-only situation).
Any breeder worth his salt knows you cant just cross two plants of the same type to get seeds of the same name.
Sure there r others with the same plant lineage, but only the 1 plant that has the award-winning pheno.
Its the same as there where other Skunk plants, but only 1 cheese pheno.
This is what i am talking about when i say it is clone only.
