Ok, I purchased some Beans from Attitude Barney Farms Blue Cheese femed.
Upon arival two out of the 5 Fem'ed seeds were broke because the case was crushed. (thats another Post.)
I dropped those three good Beans into the soil that night.
Set-up:
4x3x7 closet.
4xCFL's 250 watt, with two lids (two lights per lid.one at each end.) 6500L
Two were being used to germ. 24 hr on.
reg soil, reg water (nothing special, nothing fancy.)
small 10 inch fan,
small therm, temp from 76-82 depending on the time of day.
small planting containers.
Same method I have used for years. K.I.S.S. is what I used.
4 days after planting, two popped to the serface, one a little small, the other ok.
the third nothing.
14 days later, still nothing on the third bean, so I went in, LOL
Scraped the surface of the soil till I
found the bean, About 1/2in down, looked like a sperm.
Bean with a tail about 1/4 long and thats it?
Any idea as what may have happened? Just a freak of nature? r maybe the way I germed them? I really dont understand, I have always had luck doing them this way.
