No i havent called customer support due to not buying dirrectly. No worries though, im not a stupid person :).. I figured you guys are on the ball for trying to always reinvent your products to get something better... just like tork timers to grosmart.. great move.. i know things take time, thats why i wouldnt bash the product.. sure its expensive and there are some minor issues, but even if you were to build your own, you'll still always find ways later on to make your sytem better.. and you even admited that there are still some minor inconviences when running this. hey, what company ever admits to such things.. but hey, at least you admite to it and tell us that you are working on it. good marks in my book.

And to anyone here thinking of purchasing one of these... I say "go for it"... here you have the company on this website looking for customer feedback to help them in their design... kinda like we are part of the R and D team ourselves.. what other company do you know of that would take the time to reasearch what customers are saying about their products.. i dont know of many..

bcnl, what would have been a great addition to this box, some temp gauges.. i have an indor/ourdoor them with remote. Its nice to be able to monitor temps inside and outside these boxes. also some sort of way to fill the resivor without pulling the top up or pulling out a pot to pour the water in.. perhaps a on/off valve with some hose that would run into the resivor.. i dunno.. you probably are already working on something like this anyways.
Hey hey, good call on temp gauges. We're looking at the next generation of GroSmart right now. We do pack an indoor/outdoor digital thermometer and a mixing/filling tub with the BloomBox Royale and Producer Royale.

Easiest thing to do is go out and get a Rubbermaid mixing tub like the one in the attached picture. If you send a note to info@ I will send you the valves and hoses we use to mod this tub (and instructions for hooking it up) at no charge.

thanks a lot for your comments.

its not so much the mixing of the nutes, it is getting it into the resivor that is the real problem. Im working on something but it'll be a week or so until i post up an easy way to fill without removing a netpot.

Its cool that you guys are looking into a temp gauge.. i know it would just add to the cost and most likely, no one really needs one.. just thought it would be cool to have. Thanks for the info by the way.

That's what the mixing/filling tub does. Check out your BB hydro tub lid. See how it has that top valve at the front left? With the filling/mixing tub, you just connect the hose to the end of that valve on top of the hydro tub and then just open the valves to fill. Just make sure the mixing tub is on a chair or something so gravity can do its thing.

For emptying, you connect the same hose from the same tub and then open the valves and hit your pump override to pump things out of the reservoir and into the mixing tub.

I'm happy to send you the parts and instructions on how to build one, free of charge. Just hit up info@ and mention this convo.

own a Producer. It is the TITS. Bout to buy two Motherships. Consider the draw of amperage and the amount of space these things take up. Worth it if you are a small time hobbyist or dont have the adequate space needed for a traditional grow. Hope this helped.

Wow, this thread is heated! Lol as a rather new bloombox user I figured I'd chime in. I love it! Ya it costs a lot of money, but you get it all. And quite simply, it works. Im a business and home owner and parent. Frankly I don't have the time or skill set to build a box. There are many journals on the web showing all nine pots used. I haven't yet since I haven't had that many females at once. But I should this time. I have the veg tub full of clones off my mom. The only thing iv ever grown in my life is mold on a sandwich, and I got 3oz my first run with box. Not exceptional and many ppl do more, but for my dumbass, I was impressed. If I can average 4 every time ill be happy. It's only for me so I don't need much.

It's not perfect, but iv driven 100k$ cars (not owned) and still found things I'd change. That's just life.

If you can afford it, get it. It certainly will pay you back.

Hey guys or gals thanks for all the info on the bloombox, I think this might be worth purchasing seeing as my hope is to simply sustain my own habits and perhaps share with friends. Also Youngblood does the bloombox you own still have the light leakage and noise issue. You also said your a family man, I'm guessing the smell isn't noticeable now? Send me a pm if you get the chance and let me know. Thanks!!!
