Bloomberg to the rescue

Michael Bloomberg officially entered the primary for the Dem's nominee this week, entering an already crammed field to save the Dem's from themselves.
I like the guy, but a Jewish billionaire from NY just ain't gonna cut it with some potato farmer in Idaho in my opinion.
But who the fuck knows, they voted for a racist, homophobic pussy grabbing POS from Queens last time, so maybe he could win.
Anyway, this whole situation is a clusterfuck so why not continue the madness.
Just choose someone that can win.

I'd say Bloomberg running is a sign of being seriously tone deaf. I mean, we kinda want to get back to the same old corporatocracy, because it's better than President Cletus, but it's still a major problem.

With Biden getting the full Presidential press on manufactured dirt, Bloomberg seems to be in the wings ready to play some double dutch with him if it sticks.

I really liked what he had to say in this speech he gave in Tulsa:

His stance on the issues:

We have better choices already. I'd vote for Sanders before I'd choose to put another billionaire and I really fucking dislike Sanders. Bloomberg is actually a poison pill for Biden. I'd vote for Biden before voting for a billionaire.

In his OWN STATE, Bloomberg only gets a nod from 17% of its citizens. He's second, with Biden at 30%. They should know him better than you, don't you think?

Who ever it ends up being, I am going to vote for. I am still voting Biden in the Primary.

I don't know how it will all shake out, but the message he gave in that speech is something everyone should watch and every Democratic candidate would be smart to adopt.

they're afraid of taxes and bernie who will make them pay..
Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg said he would support Senator Bernie Sanders in the general election if Sanders wins the Democratic nomination. Bloomberg, who is campaigning in Texas, said in an interview with CBS News' Tim Perry that "the number one thing is to replace Donald Trump."

"While I certainly would disagree with Bernie on an awful lot of things, if it's Donald Trump vs. Bernie, I would support Bernie," Bloomberg said.

I am admittedly biased against billionaires. I guess that's unfair. Bloomberg will just have to try to succeed in spite of my prejudices.

is Trump* a billionaire? if yes, how do you know- because Trump* says so?
I don't normally respond to petty posts like this but just for fun I typed Trump's assets into the Google search engine and this came up.

"In July 2015, federal election regulators released new details of Trump's self-reported wealth and financial holdings when he became a Republican presidential candidate, reporting that his assets are worth above $1.4 billion, which includes at least $70 million in stocks, and a debt of at least $265 million."

Don't think for a second that just because I do believe he is a billionaire that somehow makes me a supporter of his, I trust no billionaire.

If he's the Savior, we're fucked.
The only thing he's good for is too counter the RNC propaganda by outspending them.
If he ran earlier, there might have been a chance but too little too late

I agree it doesn't matter in the least but: 'self-reported wealth' is the tell in that statement. He might or might not be, I have no special insight into him, but I do admit I am kind of looking forward to episode of this comedy when his actual tax information lands in the public.

Yeah we don't need a savior, just someone competent. If it is him it is him, the President is one piece, the Democrats need the House and a super majority in the Senate to get anything done.

"We build a team", really does make the best point around 10 minutes in.

He is trolling Trump so hard towards the end.
I'd be hard-pressed to vote for Bloomberg in the fall. I'd prefer even Bernie over another Billionaire. Remember Bloomberg's stop and search policies that were thrown out as racist yet Bloomberg fought that ruling tooth and nail? The evidence is overwhelming that his racist police actions were not a factor in NYC's drops in crime yet he still touts this policy as why.

No. No man. That's fucked up. He's out of touch and denies facts in favor of his own belief. No way he gets my vote in the primary.
