Bloom Week 5: N Deficiency

Hey All,

Okay so, I have been slowly putting together a new space for myself. Working towards RDWC. Until I can get some remodeling done, it's back to basics with soil and air pots. Okay, so here are the basics:

Stage: Week 5 of Flower
Strain: Sunday Driver
Veg. Light: Fluence VyperX
Flower Light: Fluence Spyder2i
Room Temp: 85F
RH: 55-60%
VPD: ~1.19
C02: 1300ppm

Had the plants fishtailing a little through early veg. They went from below sea level to +5k feet, from a T5 to the VyperX, there was a Thanksgiving day massacre performed by some inlaws(they fried the plants with too much EC in the nutrient solution).

You can see below that I'm fighting a nitrogen deficiency in my two largest plants. I am using the H&G line of nutes. On their 10 week feeding schedule they recommend cutting off Nitrogen boost, aminos, roots(all three boost N levels) at week 5.

So here I am, entering week 5, with a N deficiency. I'm okay with the deficiency late in flower, but I'm only half way through right now. Should I use the Nitrogen Boost to supplement as I start using BudXL and Top Booster?

Thanks for your time and consideration!

P.S. I have similar post in the LED forum about my light recipe. I'll be starting grow journal for the remainder of this crop as well.

Week 5 is about when they need a boost of cal mag. I use tap water and this is the only time usually that I have to give supplemental cal mag. The nitrogen in that should help.

Thanks Harley. I actually have a water softener at the house. A lot of the mineral and chlorine content is taken out of the water, but salt ions are added. As such, I've been using RO water to do my nutrient mix. My ppms(500-600ppm)tend to be too high from the tap to also feed all my nutes.

That being said, I've been using CalMag by GH to supplement on each feeding.

I recommend first feeding after flipping being a full veg feed and you’re probably seeing why.
