bloom nutes when they show sex?

i always thought bloom nutes were added as soon as you flip the switch to 12/12, but recently i've read some posts that suggest you add it as soon as sex shows. surely this can't be right? why would you add tiger bloom for example (i am using the fox farm tri-pack) when your plants are still in veg mode under 18 hrs of light or more. i would like some clarification here.

i would also like to know if most people continue with the veg nutes the first week. i plan to stop adding Grow Big(veg nute) on the 2nd week of 12/12, by that time my girls should get the message that it's time to flower. i do not want a repeat of last time when all my leaves turned yellow too soon and i think that prevented fatter buds.

they will show the sex with light 12/12, not with bloom nutrient ! If you feed em with bloom nute at flip time , Bloom will induce the leaves droopy and will have a yellow leaves , leaves are important for bud production and more yield...I would suggest you keep feed your plants veg nutrient when the plants are into four weeks of 12/12, by time they will reveal their sex, cull the males and start feed em bloom.

remember to keep your grow K.I.S.S !

Start bloom when you see buds it takes time after switching to 12/12 for you plant to transform to flowering so again start you bloom nutes after you see small buds

I don't add any bloom nutes until 2 weeks after they begin to flower..it keeps the plants nice and green until they finish.
