Why kill the kangaroo's?
pardon the ignorance, but how high can a roo jump?if you dont want to kill it that electric bear fence looks like a good idea but if someone found it they will take it
Australia has too many Kangaroos... Killing them would compare to Flordians killing alligators to keep numbers in control.
Sounds like a 6' tall electric bear fence is what you need...in full flight a kangaroo can easily clear a 4 to 5 foot fence and if they cant clear they just run ( hop) straight through them
you obviously dont know much about roo's gypsy....Sounds like a 6' tall electric bear fence is what you need...
If a full grown Grizzly bear, at charge, can't get through...
I really doubt a roo can push through...
The electrical charge is harmless, but enough to divert the attention of the would be invader...
Stfu
You no nothing about Australia or of the kangaroo's.
Keep ya mouth shut
HAHAHAHA, don’t believe everything you see on USA TV.Are you mentally retarded or something? It's widely reported in articles and common knowledge that Australia is doing their best to lower, and control the count of Kangaroos. I take it you don't read...
I wasn't referring to anything I saw on TV. In fact I was referring to a few articles put out by environmental groups in Australia... Obviously though you will respond with the common childish "stfu" nonsense, you work at a zoo in Australia... You're probably against any sort of population control when it comes to any animal...HAHAHAHA, dont believe everything you see on USA TV.
I work at a zoo in Australia.
Australia is in a drought and they are about to get owned by global warming.
' An increase of two degrees may halve kangaroo population. '
' Australia to be between 0.4 and two degrees warmer by 2030, and between two and six degrees warmer by 2070 '
The study, conducted by George Wilson, of the independent consultancy Australian Wildlife Services, found that increasing the kangaroo population to 175 million and decreasing the number of livestock over the next 12 years would lower Australias annual greenhouse gas emissions by 3 per cent.
People aren't running around killing them because there are too many.
Sigh

By the way, you assuming I know nothing about Australia is as ignorant as if I were to assume you know nothing about America... For all you know, I may have spent my entire life in Australia up until a year ago. You should learn to go off what you know to be true, and not what you assume to be true.
Also, for the record- I don't think I have heard the word "Australia" on American television in about 8 or 9 years, aside from when MTVs Real World was filmed there, so I don't know how you could associate statements made by environmental groups with American television... Perhaps it's because it's something you don't agree with or want to believe in.
oh yes we do...come out of the city and see what really happens in the outback...People aren't running around killing them because there are too many.
growtech you are absolutely correct we do cull them if they become over populated,i dont know if we have any culls going on at the moment but we should there are a few spots where the roos out number the sheep in the paddock.
yep, plenty of culling happens. Thanks for the clarification... I knew it wasn't just American TV Of course, I would have to watch it to be misinformed... Thanks for the clarification though.
