BLEEDING PLANT (pics)

Doing a bit of pruning in the veg room and I noticed my plant bleeding from where I cut it.
I've seen it fluid up on the wounds before, but never like this. It was like straight blood when I first cut it, but I ran to go get my phone to get a pic and it was both clear and bloody by then.

Happy Halloween huh?

From my experience, the red sap...or blood is when the plant is going through a hormonal stage and any plant that has shown blood in my experience...has been female...some may disagree though.

The plant is a mother. She's never been flowered. They stay under 24 hrs of light at 78*F and dont deviate from that so Im relatively sure its no temp issue. RH stays at 52% all the time. My momma/veg room is totally dialed in. The momma she came from looked exactly the same in a totally different grow room as well. I've been cloning/pruning and growing for a long time and have never seen this on ANY plant in over a decade of cutting? I looked it up and cant find too much regarding why it does it. Just that this is very rare and everyone who responded in those forums wanted their plant to bleed lol
@dirtpower -you've seen this before??

Yes! several times when I pinched a tip before flowering.

What strain? Was it the same strain on every occasion? Most I could gather is that there were genetics going around in the 80's that was notorious for this. I read this in 2 different forums, but nobody had pictures. Then I was able to find a picture that was bloodier than mine, but there was no mention of why or what strain it was. Just a bunch of ppl saying they wanted theirs to bleed too. Odd thing was, one of the other bloody plants with pictures was on Oct 30th lol

Well, it started thirty years ago and I had my first outside grow, a friend told me to pinch a tip starting in August and to pinch one tip once a week to see if there was blood as blood was an indicator of a hormonal change, indicating female...for me I found this to be true...I no longer do this as I use fem seed or clones

And , NO! it was never the same strain...you could have the spice flavor of plants or the hash tasting plants or lemon tasting plants...even the pine tasting plants...blood red indicated female in my humble experience.
