Hope everyone had a relaxing weekend. Had a gig wedding gig on Saturday that was actually a lot of fun. Took it easy today and just smoked some sativas while blasting music and cleaning up the house. Was cold a rainy outside, so I wasn't missing anything. I'm over my ebike injuries so I'm finna unbox the other ebike I purchased and test ride it this week. I have elbow, knee/shin pads to armor myself with now, so hopefully that will help in the next crash. While I was cleaning this awesome B-side came on, so I thought I'd post it here. Some sexy funk to start your week off right...


 
New laptop will be here today, actually two will. Tried to cancel one but it shipped before it went through. I can take the first back to Walmart or just give it to the wife so I don't have to listen to her complaining about how slow hers is. Trying to figure out if I can get the pics off the bare hard drive I pulled from my laptop. Getting all my links would be nice also. Mornin.

most hard drives can be plugged in while not mounted in a case, but if it is hdd not ssd be careful not to jostle it while you have it like that. lost a few hours of pirated movies once by stepping on one, lol
 
Hey @Aeroknow , I tried to DM you but it won't let me. This thread is giving much different info about room temps with LEDs. I've been doing about 84-85f, but these guys are saying 75f is okay and that my temps will hurt terpene and other cannabinoids. Are they just full of shit???

I am aware of the different temps required for each type of lighting. Can I use supplemental ir light bars to avoid the need for temps in the 85° F range and operate at 78° F like hid lighting?

I want to switch from cmh lighting to all led lights for a open air grow in my basement. Without any lighting on the ambient temp stays steady at 73° F. With my four cmh lights on the temps range between 77° and 79° F. I don't want to use tents and heating the whole basement isn't economically feasible.

I can guarantee you that if you kept your room at 75F you will be fucking pissed at the yields.
I know ALLOT of growers here in Ca. When I made the switch, even I didn’t trust what one of my buddies told me and he already had plenty experience with LED’s.
It’s all about leaf temps. When you were growing under Hps, the leaves were a good 5F warmer than the room temp due to IR. LED’s just don’t add that heat to the leaves.

If I were you, while you’re still doubting things, go pick yourself up a laser infrared temp gun and check out what the leaf temps are ;-)

No prob with terps. Not one grower I know.

Just to clarify .
Led room or tent temp should be between 80-85 degrees to get the best yields.
What should the humidity level be?
And can you please tell me what kind of infrared laser gun would be best.

I have ALWAYs, kept humidity 60 and under(55-60) with plenty airflow to avoid budrot. I’m usually running perpetual rooms so there’s always buds finishing. You could def run a little higher early flower and drop it down later when buds are finishing though if you wanted.
I like my Klein temp gun that I got but i’m sure the one at Harbor Freight will work just fine ;-)

And BTW, i’ve been known to nerd out on a lot of things but nerding out on VPD is not one of them. Like I said though, i’m usually running bigger perpetual bloom rooms.
