Why two ball valves?
Must be National Plumbing Day, huh? :eyesmoke:

Always good to be able to isolate sections. Set up like this you can put in another pressure tank for fun when you get another good sativa in house.
Our liddle house got an entirely new (liddle) system. The longest pipe run is about 10 ft. LOL. Looking at the pic...washer/dryer is just to the left. Bathroom behind the back wall...kitchen behind right side wall. We had a small under cabinet 20 gal water heater here when we moved in and it was 1/2 full of sediment. You could barely get a fast shower. And...all of the piping in the house was some very old (40 years) PVC that was simply brittle AF. Our well is also that old and the metal casing is slowly flaking off. All of that was getting into the system/clogging up screens in faucets/shower diverter/etc. So we PEX'd everything...put in a new 50 gal hot water heater....and a spin-down filter to collect sediment. Works super.

God I miss selling/making that easy money. I could kill it from here. Figures. Finally land in a spot where you can blow it the fuck up and ERRRRRR full stop/brakes on. Oh well...at least I probably won't go to prison now. (if there are any laws....hmmmm...still pondering that one)

"we just smiled and waved...sitting here on these pounds of weed...." (OK....so I changed it to fit the current scenario)

Have a super day....

Greetings from the Annapolis Valley. Hard to believe it’s been 13 years since I’ve been out here. Just had tea with my 94 year old Grandmother and such great laughter and reminiscing. Missed her.

Another perk is getting to stay with my Aunt & Uncle down the road at their place. It’s like an outdoor Shangri-La near a winery. Outdoor shower, pavilions, pizza oven in the outdoor kitchen, raised bocce/boulle venue. Kinda nuts, but in a grounded, hippy way. They never had kids and just either travel or spend time adding to the 5 acres here. I’m hella jelly of how they live.

I keep (half) joking that I’ll retire out here and take over the place from them. It’s quite restorative to spend a few days here. Plus, they could grow a fuck-ton of weed on this property ;)

peanut rejects a leash so far, goes flat & whines... refuses to move
attitude again
but we're working on it, he is food driven, so the bribe works
I had a video of Harley's first walk. I think I deleted it. Like trying to walk a wild rabbit on a leash.

He's gotten a lot better with walks and gets so excited when I mention the word.

On the subject of pressure tanks, this puppy is 21 years old and the rust on the bottom has me wondering - is this one done?
After having one take a huge piss on the floor when the fitting on the bottom rusted and gave out one AM...I'd be thinking hard about lining up "the guy" or the parts to do a switch out. It's always a pain in the ass to do plumbing stuff but in crisis mode it is truly mind rattling stuff. I'm just glad we were here when it blew. On the rare occasions we leave I always flip the hot water heater breaker and the pump breaker. Surprises suck. Live and learn.
Smokey and warm here. Everything is loving it. Gave the girls a shot of bloom yesterday and have backed off on the N for a bit to try to minimize the s-t-r-e-t-c-h. How does your garden grow? I'll try to get some current pics soon. This was a few weeks ago. DSC_4363.JPG

They sure are thirsty.....

My head has been hurting since early Monday morning. It's hurting like this from trying to understand this language and interface called terraform. You see, I have had enough of programming languages and configuration files shoved in this noggin over my 45+ years in the biz. I really don't need - or want - to learn another one. So how about we say fuck terraform ...

... cause it's Hump Day! You folks know which plant is which.
