Mornin'...

Another warm day here...60F....maybe some rain by Monday. Seeing jonquil tops pushin' up/out of the ground and a few blades of green grass trying to make a showing in the yard...most of which is snow free. Ahhh....limbo...'er...a..."Spring". Feels like you can do something out there but the ground is still mostly frozen. LOL. Hurry up and wait. I think I can do a bit of cleanup in the wildflower garden. Starting to see the Shasta's poking up....

Yeah I was rather surprised at how good a deal I got on most the pieces. I was even MORE surprised that everything I came home with is pretty close to straight and flat.

Did splurge a little on a solid 12" radiata pine board, but everything else fell into surprisingly inexpensive compared to what I saw last year.

we use as much scrap wood as we can now, vs in years past we would burn it or haul it to the forest.
Starting to plan for the eclipse. Full eclipse is only about an hour or two north of here, but all the traffic warnings starting to get to me.
we're at 99.9% totality here, and all my family is in 100%, my sister is going to see almost four full minutes. i would really only have to drive about 30 minutes to 100%, and i'm trying to plan a backroads route because i do NOT want to see it from the interstate, in my car
