Should have one right at it.
I still have quite a few things i want to do to my new house and the property. One of those things is installing one of these at my well. Much better than a pressure/bladder tank.

^^^^Interesting^^^^ However, I'm firmly in the "If it ain't broke don't fix it" mode here...especially with the well. We re-did our entire system in 2020.

We added one of these Rusco Spin Down filters to our system because our well is 40 years old and the metal casing in flaking off and was sending flecks of iron into the system. After adding this...problem solved. Rather than the crap getting into the system...I now just flush this filter out every few months into a jug and toss the spoils. If you ever repair/re-do your system I would highly recommend this addition.

Interesting. Why do you think that's better?

My tank is still under warranty and the bladder broke. Not looking forward to dealing with it.

I think we're going to have to start catching raccoons and geese at these prices.

one of my good farmer buddies is packing it all up this year, after 15+ years. he said the costs of cows, pigs, and chickens right now is completely bonkers. what was at one point $1/lb on the hoof at auction is now $2.85/lb. he used to pay his butcher $900/visit (not sure how much he was dropping off)...regardless that same number of animals is now costing him $1900/visit. he had a lot of ominous things to share that felt a bit doomsday-ish, but suffice to say: if your diet consists of a lot of meat, you should be starting a special savings account just to afford it soon.

950-1000ppm.

If this girl is only 2 weeks out, I hope she starts bulking up soon.
Looks like you are lacking some micros and minerals that help the process of nutrient uptake. Unless you are adding them all back in to your r.o. things start to get whacky after week 4

They look hungry and overfed at the same time, which leads me to believe that she is uptaking p & k but locking out n. So she's eating the nitrogen stored in the fans while also showing signs of p and k toxicity.
