I'm a book worm and I read a lot of Russians growing up. They were always complaining about the cold and using Rèaumur. It wasn't so easy to figure out in the pre internet days.
I started to read and didn't like War and Peace so I've been averse to Russian literature. To me War and Peace read like a TV soap opera which bored the shit out of me. Is there any Russian literature you recommend?

... And don't forget a dram weighs 1.772 grams. Useful knowledge at the apothecary shoppe ...
Worked for a few years with an aging English lady who would always say "I need to nip out for a spell to visit the chemist at the apothecary". And while we were looking around at each other to wonder WTF she just said, we eventually found that she went to The Spotted Dick on Bloor St. E for a couple of pints of Newcastle Ale.

... I like that stuff, at least the bottles we get in the states ...
When there was a Brew Your Own place back in Pickering, I brewed a couple of batches of their Newcastle Brown Ale recipe.

Their NBA recipe was pretty simple compared to a red ale like a Smithwick's - 50L of water, 4L of dark ale extract, 1L of glucose, a start hop, a finish hop, moss pellets - and 90 minutes to steep it all. Nice and brown and thick enough to have as a meal - cause it was pretty good to use as an augment in beef gravy.

I must have missed this purchase. Is this to replace your hid? Awesome stickers lol. I've had great results with cheap leds, happy for you!
Thanks!!

Yes, I am switching over to LED. I bought one bigger primary light, but these were posted in the "deals" thread and at $55 each I took a chance...Plus it was Amazon Prime so they are easily returnable....But I am really impressed. I think I am going to use one as my veg light, and maybe use the other as supplemental in my tent.

They are still on sale, but not quite as good a price.

Very cool, are you daisy chaining them together?
I haven't yet, but I did hang one in the tent last night and took the 600 watt HPS out.

My bigger light doesn't have a dimmer, but it has the ports to add one or to daisy chain. I wonder if I could daisy chain these two together and use the dimmer on the smaller light to control both??

I didn't get the optional dimmer as i plan on using the big light for flowering only, and will always run it at 100% (was my thought anyways). The bigger light also did not come with cable to mount the driver remotely, and the small light did!!
