I cut open the bag and use it. So others with more brick experience can help out. I'd also check Canna's website for their usage recommendations. I really hope it works out well for you and I'm curious to hear your thoughts after a run.
Yeah their site doesn't say squat, unfortunately. Even on the product it doesn't say...."Just add 1 liter at a time until desired consistency."

Reviews on Amazon are mostly good for the bricks, but some say it's not the same as bagged and still needs flushing, so I may flush it to be safer....

Not really. Maybe it would work if you were swinging it around constantly.

Fire it up and touch the mesh with your tongue!

Looks like the canna bricks are pre buffered. Just add water.

Finally made it out of the house without coffee, for my lab work.

On the way home, passing the zoo, there was an adult bear crossing the road. I stopped to take a pic and he started to climb a tree in someones yard, while peeking around at me, 15' away. I thought he might be an escapee from zoo, but I checked and no bears there...well except this one!

Lots to do today...Canna coco was just delivered.

Do you guys hydrate it with a nute mix or just RO water?

Gonna clean up my truck today too...I decided time to sell her!
I hydrate with just water in a tub a few days early then right before transplant I water with properly phed and nutes for the age of whatever is going in

I found too much sediment in it and the removal wasn't easy. Plus having to make sure you don't mess with the set CEC. That's why I don't mess with it. It's just too much work and I hate it when my hands get dirty. I'd probably use my Ca/Mg additive to make a roughly 250 or (.3 ec) solution and run that through for a final rinse so you can restore the CEC, but that's just guessing. I'd also heavily cut it with XLg Perlite if it doesn't have a large amount of coir (hairy fibers) in it.
