On brighter note, I am shifting back into painting mode, and going to paint the kitchen this week....Hopefully. Pretty big job. Just going to wash the walls today and take curtains down, etc., Then I have some cracks and nail pops to repair, so probably going to take all week, at least. Then the tile grout needs to be cleaned and resealed....

Good cold weather projects!

Happy Monday!!

My kitchen needs the same. I pulled out he fluorescent light box and put in some LED "can" lights so you can see where the clean area is inside where the box was. I have been putting off the ceiling painting because cleaning it sucks. Cabinets are all taped off already.
Clear skies before the next storm rolls in tomorrow, froze last night. Going to fill the beer shelf today and hide in the house tomorrow.
Mornin.

We are supposed to get snow tonight and tomorrow too...about 2" they say. It was 55 and sunny yesterday!

Well no large doses of shrooms for this old man anytime soon....That was one scary ride. It felt so good to NOT be so high last night!!!!!

I am bummed....After doing a shit ton of research, I booked a cruise in early May to the Bahamas with my house mate on MSC Cruise line, which is breaking into our market and has some great prices and beautiful ships...Like about half of the other major lines.

My buddies passport is expired, which I knew, but all that is required is a birth certificate for the Bahamas....Except on MSC....THEY only will accept a passport, I find out after booking! Some law since they are registered in Sweden.

He is going to call the passport office in NYC today and see if he can get an appt., but from what I read they are slammed and it's not gonna happen in time. So may have to cancel or take someone else, etc. ,ugh, always something. I spent at least 10+ hours researching everything but missed this!
My aunt just went through this… the answer is to have your buddy email his local congressman. It is there job to help expedite citizen matters like this. If it's a special election year, they'll get right on it.

I was reading that a lot of people do that....I doubt My friend would. Last night the last thing he said was "forget it, I'm not going". Lovely since it's on my credit card! He should have been on this long ago...He was planning to go to Japan to see his brother in June. He is a major procrastinator!!

@raratt

Here's the stuff you need for your ceiling...No rinsing required and probably the most powerful cleaner ever.

It's still not a fun job though...I'm soaked from sweat! And I'm only washing walls and spot cleaning the ceiling where needed.
