Red letter morning at the Okla Vatican - an elusive feral cat that we feed twice a day, for the entirety of it's life, allowed me to pet him this morning. I wanna say he is about 2 years old.

His mother is a regular, who is keen at avoiding traps, outside of pregnancy.

That being said, It's way too early to be awake on a sunday. This is what I get for suggesting "breakfast" and not "brunch."
Head is kinda pounding. Unsure if it is allergies or the cured resin vapes I horked on last night.

Coffee is poured. The Deacon of Dank (the Papal Piece) has some King Gelato in its bowl.

Blessed are those who can easily sleep in.

There's a guy at camp from Newfoundland - some call them Newfies- he talks funny with a unique accent. Regarding today, he said " your mudder is your mudder, and your fudder could be anyone."

That's cool.

From Google:
Mi'kmaq people, in their language, refer to Newfoundland as Ktaqmkuk, which translates to "last water or land". The Mi'kmaq also had a strong presence in Newfoundland before European colonization, with evidence suggesting they were living there by the 16th century. They developed a distinct way of life, engaging in hunting, trapping, and trading furs with European settlers.

Amazing what a quick search brings up now a days. Very informative no one in my family really talked about until recently from my aunt. It's was a thing in Newfoundland not to say anything when immigration related back then. They make these beautiful blankets and things with their tribe colors. Most family over there fish with commercial boats, would be nice to meet them, Aunt went a few years ago since she's living in Maine,45 min from boarder.

Newfoundland, New Brunswick and PEI are on my bucket list. Already been from Peggy's Cove to Whistler. Canada - yours to discover! Best beer ever is in Quebec City.

Got a double take from the neighbor, who we share a chain-link fence with, when bringing in the girls from their hardening off. 20250511_125529.jpg

Built some cages to protect the ladies from the dog.
Seeded catnip against the back fences to attract the feline visitors away from these plants, and to deter the squirrels when the boxer isn't bringing her brand of chaos to my oasis.

Wonderful day, weather wise, to sit in the garden and enjoy a doink.

lol, what do you think the neighbor is thinking? Omg that’s so funny.
What was the expression on their face? I’m dying to know ! Were you tempted to say , “ mind your own damn business or what?” ! lol. If they could spot the plant they must be stoners. Maybe install traps around the plant and premises to keep intruders away. There was a great thread on here years ago with some who had this massive outdoor plant and people were stalking . He dug a trench all the way around the plant and placed daggers at the bottom.

I would have stopped with a plant in my hand, looked in his eyes, and said, ''Fuck, now I gotta dig another hole..."
