Got the new clones planted in solo cups with ziploc bags over them to help them acclimate to the 20% humidity in the house due to the electric heaters. The one with no ziploc is LA Pure Kush and it's already acclimated. Can't wait to flower these girls out. Hope y'all are having a great weekend and stay safe tomorrow night on the East Coast, snow and freezing rain forecast for us. Gonna hunker down and stay high.1000002125.jpg

How much did you pay for those clones, if you don't mind me asking? I heard that Boston Clone Company charges from $150-$2000 for each cut. Went there last night, but I couldn't order anything online so I'm guessing I'd have to be invited in after being vetted by the owner? I'd like clean, mean cuts, but I'm not sure I want to invest a crazy amount of money since weed is so cheap now.

These would have been $1,400 at their regular price but I grabbed all 5 for $200 including next day shipping. They send me a menu via email every week and they have good sales fairly often. I'd wait for the sales as the regular prices are high.
Rusty at Cannaventure Seeds has really nice cuts for around $125 and he's great to deal with.

Great info, thanks. How do I order? Contact the owner, hope he digs me, then he directs me to a different site to order? Do they take credit cards?

The dispensaries here had clones for $18, the supplier they had lost everything to the HLV though. Not sure if they have a new supplier now.

I think you just email them at the contact email on the site and ask for a menu and to be added the mailing list. They send a menu by email in pdf format and you just download it and check out what strains are available and prices. They list the sales on the menu and you can save a ton if you catch a good sale. I paid by PayPal, not sure if they do credit cards. They were really great about communicating with me.

... Lake effect is no joke ...
You got that right. This rivals two other pretty bad lake effect events ... and both were on the road at night.

Lake Huron - this one hit us just past where the 402 splits off from the 401 west of London and dogged us until we were 5 km east of Sarnia. We were detoured off the 402 and had to go through Strathroy.

Lake Michigan - this one nailed me on I-94 a few km west of Benton Harbor / St. Joseph MI. That one was my companion until just west of Chesterton, IN.

I can't believe I have a Saturday off! First one in months. My mind keeps asking, 'are you sure your not missing someone's wedding???' Yes, brain, I'm sure. You can turn off again now. Just have to finish harvest week by putting plants in a clean system. Gonna get some takeout later, and finish watching season 6 of Black Mirror for the second time. I missed an episode the first time around, the werewolf one. It was pretty cool. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend, back to real, non-holiday life in a couple of days.
One of my favorite series I was just looking at episodes which one is the werewolf one just curious if something different..

... Kids back to school and back to the work grind tomorrow ...
I overheard a couple neighborhood teens griping about that yesterday.

Our daughter also heads back to work after her Maternity Leave. She probably wants the rest after tending to an 18 month old dude who is VERY mobile. One day that young lad will comprehend what "solid matter" is.

40 degrees and partly sunny, there are a few high clouds around so the sun is playing hide and seek. My sportsball game is not going to be on TV today however there are more consequential games on to watch. Granddaughter dropped off 3 18 packs of eggs so I'm good on that breakfast food for awhile. Their girls must be crankin' them out. Hope they don't have to deal with the avian flu, but their birds are relatively isolated.
Mornin.
