Day two of sunshine beginning. Had a hard frost last night, neighbors roof was white, low was 34. I still don't know how it happens above freezing but it does. I have hamburger thawed out so I think dinner is big sloppy bacon cheeseburgers with Checkers seasoned fries. I'm hungry now...ooh I have milk and thawed out hot pork sausage and even a tube of old fashioned biscuits...

Mornin.

Thermostat goes to 65 at night, 68 during the day. My indoor lights are all LED.
With only a veg cycle going right now I don't even have my ventilation going. Damn I remember my first winter growing indoors, walked outside and saw a perfectly circular thawed patch on my roof and thought, "Well shit, that's not obvious." By 2012 I just told anyone who asked I was mining crypto. I kinda miss that old 450w HPS.

We haven't had a frost since I got LED's unfortunately. I could use a good month or two of genuine cold. We're back to hitting mid 80's during the day. Unfortunately my wife-ometer doesn't go as low as 65. I begged to get 74° for the plants but she wraps up like it's -14°f in Chicago once it goes below 73°.

Has anybody used the magical butter filter press? I am leaning towards picking one up just because I hate trying to ring out cheesecloth and I feel like cheesecloth and coffee filters waste so much oil by absorbing it.

For ten dollars less you can get an Aeropress. If it doesn't work out, you'll have a great manual coffee maker.

I use my Aeropress for coffee, oils, tinctures, and butters.
