the ladybugs have settled in and some have settled on each other. :hump:
the girls seem to have made it through the super rainy weather that we’ve had since Friday. No rain at all for the foreseeable future so I’m letting them live, for now.

bubblegum is looking rough. Zoom in on those leaves and cringe. This is the plant with the most aphids, and lots of gray spots on yellowing leaves. Just gross lol.

Chernobyl is looking a bit better but she officially has aphids now as well.

she’s a couple weeks behind the other one but honestly they’re both coming down by the end of next week. My outdoor grow days are coming to a close. :wall:

Opportunity to crack a bunch of seeds, like 24-50 from pollen chucks, find some keepers.
Keep the best ones inside, find a male, toss the rest outside as late as possible to keep them short and managable.
I just treat the outdoor as seed crop, takes all the worry out of losing a harvest. Pretty happy with last year's chuck, did well outside.
