How does that ratio work for you potency wise? I have an abundance from last seasons outdoor run, so it’s on my list. Was thinking of going oz to lb but increasing for a little extra punch might be wise ;)
Depends on the bud. Depends on the person. I can eat a whole batch of cookies and just get frustrated. My wife is good with a few tablespoons on Cinnamon raisin toast 3 or 4x a day. Where as her friend eats a piece of a cookie and she calls off work for 2 days. bongsmilie

Same. I’m not an edibles person, but Miz Chiz likes the option, so I suspect some of the Northern Lights over run will be put towards the cause. Thanks man!

Mornin' folks...

Thoughts on insurance: You need it. We had an event that ran up a 400K bill in a week. Without insurance...yikes...that's a serious no lube situation right there. Years of getting fucked hard...or Bankruptcy (and more years of getting fucked hard). That's a no-win situation every time.

Edibles: I wish I could catch a buzz this way and see how it feels. I've tried many, many times to no avail. Someone said "You need an Ardent. It changed everything for me"... but I personally don't think it's the prep/etc. I think it's me.

Looks like a slight weather change here. A bit of rain...maybe 1-3" of snow... we will see. At least there's something in the forecast every few days like a normal pattern. Now to see it materialize...

Day 64 in the bloom tent. It's time. Will likely set up and do the deed later today. Hope yer day is groovy......:bigjoint:

Some people have very aggressive first pass systems and their liver cleans cannabinoids very efficiently which is why some people just don't get high off an edible. Add to the fact there is greater bioavailability via inhaled cannabinoids vs ingested (mode of administration in medications matter), some people don't get high off edibles.

It might be worth trying a larger dose to overwhelm the first pass efficiency but if you got a good liver I'm betting on the liver.

Here's the actual science for you (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8803256/):
After THC is absorbed, it travels to the liver where most of it is eliminated or metabolized to 11-OH-THC or 11-COOH-THC. The remaining THC and its metabolites enter the circulation. The bioavailability of ingested THC is only 4% to 12%. THC is highly lipid soluble and is therefore rapidly taken up by fat tissue. The plasma half-life of THC is 1 to 3 days in occasional users and 5 to 13 days in chronic users. The bioavailability of CBD via inhalation is 11% to 45%, whereas that of oral CBD is 6%. CBD has high lipophilicity and therefore is rapidly distributed in the brain, adipose tissue, and other organs. CBD is hydroxylated to 7-OH-CBD and 7-COOH-CBD by cytochrome P450 enzymes CYP3A4 and CYP2C9 in the liver and is excreted mainly in feces and less in urine. The plasma half-life of CBD is 18 to 32 hours.
