During my pathophysiology rotation at the coroner's office we used Forschner knives. I highly recommend them. I also love my high carbon steel Sabatier knife. But overall I'd go with Forschner. They are not Japanese knife sexy but great utility knives at a perfect price point. My guess is you are already over here: https://www.hocho-knife.com/

They have some lovely knives...
Of course a nakiri is the one thing I would love to have. Not sure if it would fit in my knife block.

There is a bright yellow object in the sky today and it hurts my eyes. Supposed to make it to 63 today and we might hit 70 by Sat.
Sent the boy to Ace a couple times yesterday for more fence building material, I have to weigh the cost of their materials there as opposed to a road trip to HD and a 30 mile round trip plus the time and gas it takes. Sometimes the convenience of picking up stuff nearby wins out. Neighbor is covering half the cost of the fence between us so that helps out a bit.
Mornin.

Big cellular and wifi outage this morning so we bailed on the first day of the pdga tour match. Luckily it's just a practice day. We were just hoping to get the lay of the land and figure out what to expect for the next few days. Now, we will most likely just have a lazy day and go hang at the pool for a little bit. A day of rest isn't a terrible idea, but I was really looking forward to a round of play this morning and some spectatimg this afternoon.
