Mine don't need any assistance in chewing shoes. That's usually something I attempt to discourage.

I give them marrow bones from the butcher, then put some pizza in there when they finish.
That usually keeps them occupied all day, trying to suck the pepperoni flavoring out

This one too. That was my thought process at first was show him he can chew on a shoe as long as it's the correct one. But I've come to find out he's not racist and he'll chew on any shoe.

He was already a sneaker connoisseur. I was just trying to show him all my love and perhaps a damn good compromise with his new robocop style shoe. And he was like "thanks that's awesome. But your efforts are in vain motherfucker". He does a pretty good job responding to "no" now though.

Today i'm off. I think i'll take my dog and dab pen to the lake for a little walk. It's sunny and pretty today, but not warm.
