well i was worried as i soaked my new seeds in a rainwater superthrive mix ,and thought i had stuffed up , but they are starting to pop after three days ,both white widow and aussie blue.
as it is so cold in the bush at the moment i put them under a 400 metal halide ,as my flouros fucked up ,but now all seem to be popping after three days so i am hoping for the best now.
it is freezing up here ,not like you guys are used too in the u.s etc ,but fucking cold in the basement of a garage ,so even though it may be overkill to use a 400watt ,it is keeping the room warm and at least some action , i mainly want the white widow to work as the aussie blue i will try to bring up and put in the bush in spring,.
so i will keep you posted on my progress ,as this is a coco ,hydroton mix ,in two tubs i hand water until the roots go through ,then put in airstones and a res underneath ,when the roots start showing ,as i find this good as far as fungas knats etc ,as the top is dry and the roots go crazy under the main tub.
well just happy to see some life ,and hope for a few oz,s to keep me in smoke until the warm weather returns,still a while to go but at least it is working.
