So you spent about 8 weeks in veg. How tall where they at the end of veg and how tall now?
Is that how long you veg in the future.?

Whether or not I'd let them go 8wks. in veg would depend on lighting and height of the space available. If I was using 1000w or more in flower, then yes, I might let them go that long. It is tough to say how tall they really are, as i super cropped each plant a couple of times and trained them to fit the space I had (a little over a meter). They take off quick @ about 6 wks. I'd start training them early on if you have concerns w/ space issues.

Got i got newbie question, is this a good strain to make a first serious try on growing some your self? I need to grow something with mostly sativa in it thats why im asking about black jack, if not a good strain, meybe got some other ideas? And also how do i see if its a male/female?

I have an indoor grow tent 5' high x 4' long x 2'deep.I'm using 400 w switchable MH/HPS light with a florescent 4' long side light 5,000 lumens.This is my first attempt at growing and I picked 5 feminized seeds of Blackjack from Nirvana.I am using ocean forest soil in 2 gallon pots with foxfarm trio of nutes.They all germinated within 2 days.2 days after that they were sprouts.Topped them all on about day 14 when they had 4 nodes.Nodes are very close together on these.Had a little bit of nute burn the first two weeks,i cut off the burnt parts of the lowest leaves.As week 2 came to an end and 3 started i started taking off the big lower leaves that were covering bud sights and new growth.I spray them a few times a day with nute water.My temps with lights on is 81-87,off 66-73.Humidity is my biggest problem with this grow,its usually about 15%.I need to get a good humidifier in there.(Bought one used and it didnt work,or at lest it didnt do anything for the humidity level but it did turn on).My biggest concern with these was it was very bushy with lots of close nodes but it wasn't getting very tall or the branches weren't getting very long.It's now day 26 from sprouting.My biggest blackjack is 5 1/2 inches.The other 4 are between 4 and 5 inches.That seems small,but you cant see the main stalk or branches or the back side of any plant when you look at it,even from an inch away,all you see from top to bottom is green leaves.It's amazing how a a5 inch plant you cant see thru it or see the stalk.So after reading alot of blackjack grows I'm gonna let it veg to day 35 then go to flowering.My plants on day 26 look alot like day 42 pics of this thread so that makes me happy.Wish i knew how to get pics up,im new here. Pics are day 27 today.

week 1 pics of my 5 blackjacks the bigger ones on the left were white widow but i pulled them the blackjacks are the 5 smaller ones at like day 5,i havn't taken pics since,so i will tomorrow on day 27 to compare to bourbon's day 28 pics.Keep the info coming guys on your blackjack grows,i need it.:joint:

Nah, no worries - vegging just isn't as exciting as flowering. Wait until you're in full bloom, so to speak - more people will stop by.
