Black trichomes and smudges,,,WTF

Hi
I picked up and 1/8 of this good stuff from my buddy, Im not sure where he got it from but probably done locally
I decided to look at it under a usb microscope and this is what I saw
What is this? could it be bug poop, mold, over ripe trics?

Now Im afraid to smoke it, I looked at other stuff I had and it did not display this

What do you think?

I've seen this, its more than likely a trait on the plant which turns the trichs dark purple or pink - which degrades to a much much darker color. Ill try to dig up a pic of my dark purple trichs.

I think the smudges are the trichs that have been disturbed though touching, I believe its safe personally, but don't risk it for the brisket if you aren't comfortable.
