Well go back to the first thing that went wrong. You only had 2 out of 12 cakes not contaminate. Are you using a pressure cooker? Its pretty much a must if your not. Water boils @ 212 deg. which is not enough to destroy the spores of other fungus's. A pressure cooker elevates the water temps through atmospheric pressure allowing you to truly sterilize your jars(15 psi @ 60-90 min.) IF this is not your issue and your using cakes (BRF/PF Tek I assume) it will probably be a moisture issue.

I just signed a petition the other week @rory420420 had posted of a guy doing life just for conspiracy to manufacture some love. Probably the no-pc part. You can also get a $7 tote box to make a cheap glove box. Cut a circle on two sides for your arms, flip it upside down and view the work from the bottom of the box. Cuts down on contams. You justneed the $28 pc, popcorn. Then you can add colonized sub to more popcorn or bulk. Cakes are still nice but takes longer.

Google "shrooms popcorn tek". My advice is to add about 1/4 cup of vermiculite to the bottom of the jar when you pc em. Make a"shroom sgfc". Get a cfl and lamp for fruiting. Do a casing. So many routes to go with this...
