Hello everyone ! I hope your having a fantastic 420 Easter!

So I have after weeks of research decided on one of these two brands of LEDs. I am an HID grower, but I'm willing to give this new 5W technology a shot. Now before I go any further please refrain form comments such as " HID is far superior" , or why would you wast the $$ for sub par results ? All I would like to know anyone's 2 cents on their experience with either light. As stated before I've done the research and found that if utilized properly either of these lights CAN achieve great results1. Now I'm just looking for my fellow growers experiences.

I am pulling the trigger in the next two weeks or so, so any direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your time,
Bubba

I have to California lightwork solar flares 200 watt each full cycle and flowering these are all great lights. They run a little hot. Black dog I couldn't go with not enough journals too many problems too slow to get back to me on my own request for their information not available on the website technical stuff. When a company is not willing to share technology that is not hardly secret but that is just merely to provide the purchaser with the best item for the job I cannot plug them black dog for me is out. I have 3 other LED's that I can endorse two of them wholeheartedly but that's it California light works all the way if that's your choice of the two

I am currently using Black Dog BD360-U
This is my first grow with LEDs, and so far, my plants are growing great compared to previous HID grows. I am only in my 3rd week of flowering, and my girls are starting to produce some nice dense colas already. I grow in a closet, and with a simple bagged soil mix, adding only water (no nutes). You can view my entire grow so far here:

I have done some research on LEDs before buying mine, and the warranty, spectrum, footprint, and 5w power of the Black Dog sold me. I thought running an LED would be a lot cooler, but it surprised me by generating as much heat as it does, with the 5w LEDs on that heavy heatsink.

Thanks everyone for the replies. CLW is by far the most reputable company,( after speaking with reps from MARS,BD, Advanced led ect.) they also are willing to cut me a great deal. Now the only issue I have is what light to buy? I will be growing in either one 4x8 tent or 2 3x3's so I could get 2 440's, but I will only be using these for flower. So I posed this question to the rep and he thinks this might be thre best route: using 2 220's on each side,( a total of 4), oh also they are the bloom booster series. This way I'm only utilizing the bloom wavelengths and getting the same true power draw as one 440. Also from what I've read having 2 lights is better than one,( for positioning purposes, and maximizing foot print ), what ya'll think?
Thanks again

Yes the reason I say reputable is their customer service is impeccable, and they are the only ALL US MADE and sold led on the market. Black dog is in the US, but their parts and assembly are in china, as the rep told me. I don't want something to go wrong and wait 2-3- weeks before it's fixed and shipped back to me. I am not saying they aren't great lights, I wouldn't have done so much research if u wasn't considering buying a BD, or advanced.

So the 440 is supposed to cover a 3x3 area and 2 220's would pull the same wattage minus the UVB, which I would be implementing any way, so I don't see why 2 of them wouldn't cover a 3x3 area? Thoughts? Suggestions? I'm open to anything you have. Also does anyone know a reputable tent company that makes a 3x6 tent? I find the dimensions hard to obtain through a solid reputable tent company?
