Bizarre stunted MAC1, 15% the size of a Tropicana Cherry acquired at the same time after 6 weeks?

I got these 2 clones from the CC clone supplier out of California... They came in small cubes with small roots and were immediately transplanted into my new super blast off 50/50 Coco/Perlite mix in 5-6 inch pots...

I am experimenting using this as a secondary Clone incubation medium before rinsing and transplanting into RDWC expanded Clay... Anyway both root systems exploded and in 2 weeks transplanted the TC and one more week I waited and did the MAC1. I do realize I should learn how to Aero Clone since I probably always set them back a few days when I rinse medium off of roots!

Around that time MAC was developing a Deep red/purple stem I was almost sure was classic Phosphorus or Potassium Deficiency. Still can not figure out which deficiency starts with Red/stem slowed growth? I get to the point:. After all this time, and to this day, the MAC1 slowed so much I was sure (not sure now) it probably had Hop Latent Virus. But they were kind enough to send me the Test results around that time 3 weeks later -- tested negative... However that was the only test they ran. Could it be some other kind of Virus.

I have never not had a plant make a full settle-in and recovering and eventually explode in my power grower RDWC systems. This is the only plant that has ever behaved like this period!?!? The tropicana is thriving and seems like maybe a keeper for a couple of more rounds... Lvoe the branhcing pattern... IT is so frustrating to put love and time and energy at this level and then have to destroy a plant. I am moving it outside somewhere tomorrow to live out its life...

One of the clones I got a few months back was a MAC1. Mine is in soil, but was always stunted and very slow to grow versus my other strains. Finally in the past week it is actually catching up with the others. Just a thought, maybe it's specific to that strain?

You know you got MAC 1 when it grows runty. That is how it grows. Small yielding little dank plant.

How is the finished product? Got my clone from Dark Hearts Nursery here in Northern Ca. And yeah it finally seems to really be taking off and looks good and healthy
