Bizarre problem!! Experienced needs help

Well my flower room lots of plants are seeding.. No male bananas Im a freak about checking all grows.. Some seeds are beginning and some little more developed .. So I'm thinking stress seeds? Can they sees without male pollen?? No light leak no AC lights ect..it's not the genetics been running these fine and others as well.. Only stress might have happened was to cold one night in veg got to 58 maybe 60!and some fan leafs turned purple spots? I used mallet as a drench while back ? Other weird thing is my whole veg room all moms and vegging plants have hairs pistils coming out of nodes.. Never seen this and it can't be good.. It's not pre flowers as these have been run this never happened??maybe that's why seeding caused got stressed in veg?? 24 hrs light in there.. Maybe it got over 90 and stressed? Only stress I can think of in veg? I'm soo lost and possibly loose a lot man.. Have mouths to feed and I'm devastated guys!! Hope someone can help! I'm using Reverse spray but think it only kills male flowers which I have none of and not seed growth! Hope I'm wrong

Sorry can plants seed without male pollen? Like seed from stress? If so was saying only things I can think of that could have stressed out plants. Getting to cold in flower. And all plants in veg room are shooting hairs pistils.. Thinking maybe that's a possibility ..

no, they must have pollen.stress will cause it to herm, which in turn will pollinate n make seeds( if pollen is viable). hope this helps...peace

Yeah thx anything helps but it's hard to pinpoint how..there seeding without any male bananas I look every day since flowers appear so means its in the air somehow? Trying to figure how they got stressed! No one I know can help were all lost.. Need House MD to show up jeez

ohh, theres a nanner somewhere, your just not finding it. they hide under leaves, comin out of buds, often. it may have been genetics that made it herm. good luck bro

I don't suppose ya got a close neighbor that has a male plant? Happened here with my outdoor grow once where a neighbor was growing an outdoor plant for breeding purposes and it ended up polinating my plants. I wonder how far pollen can travel in the open air?

No neighbors growing 100% must been hidden one I missed

Male flowers can grow inside and between female flowers. If there is no male plant in your area then you have a hermie. Can't reverse the seeds now but you won't have many seeds man. I know your frustration but all you can do is keep going with the flowering. Just gonna have to pick a few seeds out of that bud when it's done, it sucks but it happens.

Bag seeds originally? A lot of bag seeds are predisposed to herm if they were from a bag of danks. If it's a clone it could have been in the genetics or from stress. I don't think a few days of out of whack temps would do it, check for light leaks and other issues in your flower room and try to resolve the issue for next time.

Another possibility is that you had a male on a prior grow that popped a pollen sac? This pollen could have hung around -- make sure you really clean your grow space between grows...or on a regular schedule if you're constantly rotating new plants in. Floors, walls, nooks and crannies -- scrub it all down.

male pollen can travel for miles in the open air and with the right conditions. the further it goes the less likely it is to land on a pistol, wild canabis grows pretty close to each other as its pretty much a weed so when the females drop thier seeded buds in the fall they leave behind thousands of seeds to pop up in the spring..

i would like to bet you have a herm somewhere in there or even had one and the flower dropped off already. its really a pretty simple concept...no pollen = no seeds point blank theres no other factors that create seeds in female plants besides pollen. so if you have seeds then there must have been some pollen source somewhere.

look on the bright side man, the seeds are probabally feminized seeds and could have accidentally made a really good cross...save em and pop em

No these are top genetics a Western Ma Sour D i got from Chem Dawg himself and a few other smow dawgs and indicas from them so I know it's not the strains ...my veg room looks weird all producing pistils under 24hr. Jeeeez

just because you have top of the line genetics dosent mean they cant hermie man, every single canabis plant is geneticly capable of producing both male and female flowers. like i said earlier if they are good genetics then save them seeds if they are ripe enough and plant em up...just because one of them produced a pollen sac dosent mean your going to get a crop of crazy hermies. it dosent mean you wont get crazy hermies either, you can get a 50/50 male to female hermie from the best genetics in the world it all has to do with which traits are dominant when the seed is formed....genetics is a crazy topic and in a single strand of DNA there are thousands of possible traits that are always going to be there but not always going to show.

its like a man and woman with brown hair and brown eyes giving birth to a child with blond hair and blue eyes, its not common but also not impossible.

About the plants in veg that are shooting pistiols (and a possible pollen sac)

Are they clones? if they are, they can get stuck in the mothers flowering disposition.

And this may account for what your seeing.

Ok thanks Retired!! My ants in veg are all ones I made from moms that were clones. Nothin from seed all from females
