(AP) – A Brazilian actor playing Judas who accidentally hanged himself during a scene in "The Passion of Christ" has died. A hospital in Brazil's Sao Paulo state confirms on its website the death of 27-year-old Tiago Klimeck. An autopsy is being performed today following his death the previous day. The actor had been in a coma since the accident on Good Friday earlier this month in the city of Itarare.

An investigator says Klimeck accidentally hanged himself during a scene in which his character Judas commits suicide. About four minutes passed before anyone noticed, believing he was playing his role. Police are examining the security apparatus that was meant to support Klimeck during the scene. It's unclear if any charges will be filed.

I suspect an understudy. They always have it in for the lead. ;)

Didn't know where to put this one. So here it is.

The guard sternly, "shut up" a group of people laughing at the Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier.

Not a peep was heard afterwards.

Notice how he went about it....stepped off the black mat, made his comments, proceeded to the end of the mat without getting back on until he reached the end....then stepped onto the black mat again, and began his 21 steps again.

The video is short

This is very interesting! I had no idea!!

This is a special tribute.

You Would Never
Have Guessed

Captain Kangaroo passed away on January 23, 2004 at age 76 , which is odd,
because he always looked to be 76. (DOB: 6/27/27 ) His death reminded me of
the following story.

Some people have been a bit offended that the actor, Lee Marvin, is buried
in a grave alongside 3 and 4-star generals at Arlington National Cemetery
His marker gives his name, rank (PVT) and service (USMC). Nothing else.
Here's a guy who was only a famous movie star who served his time, why the
heck does he rate burial with these guys? Well, following is the amazing
answer:

I always liked Lee Marvin, but didn't know the extent of his Corps
experiences.
In a time when many Hollywood stars served their country in the armed forces
often in rear echelon posts where they were carefully protected, only to be
trotted out to perform for the cameras in war bond promotions, Lee Marvin
was a genuine hero. He won the Navy Cross at Iwo Jima There is only one
higher Naval award... the Medal Of Honor!

If that is a surprising comment on the true character of the man, he credits
his sergeant with an even greater show of bravery.

Dialog from "The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson": His guest was Lee Marvin.
. Johnny said,

"Lee, I'll bet a lot of people are unaware that you were a Marine in the
initial landing at Iwo Jima ..and that during the course of that action you
earned the Navy Cross and were severely wounded."

"Yeah, yeah... I got shot square in the bottom and they gave me the Cross
for securing a hot spot about halfway up Suribachi. Bad thing about getting
shot up on a mountain is guys getting shot hauling you down. But, Johnny, at
Iwo , I served under the bravest man I ever knew... We both got the Cross
the same day, but what he did for his Cross made mine look cheap in
comparison. That dumb guy actually stood up on Red beach and directed his
troops to move forward and get the hell off the beach.. Bullets flying by,
with mortar rounds landing everywhere and he stood there as the main target
of gunfire so that he could get his men to safety. He did this on more than
one occasion because his men's safety was more important than his own life.

That Sergeant and I have been lifelong friends. When they brought me off
Suribachi we passed the Sergeant and he lit a smoke and passed it to me,
lying on my belly on the litter and said, "Where'd they get you Lee?" "Well
Bob.... if you make it home before me, tell Mom to sell the outhouse!"

Johnny, I'm not lying, Sergeant Keeshan was the bravest man I ever knew.

The Sergeant's name is Bob Keeshan. You and the world know him as Captain
Kangaroo."

In another note, there was this wimpy little man (who passed away) on PBS,
gentle and quiet. Mr. Rogers is another of those you would least suspect of
being anything but what he now portrays to our youth. But Mr. Rogers was a U
S. Navy Seal, combat-proven in Vietnam with over twenty-five confirmed
kills to his name.

He wore a long-sleeved sweater on TV, to cover the many tattoos on his
forearm and biceps. He was a master in small arms and hand-to-hand combat,
able to disarm or kill in a heartbeat

After the war Mr. Rogers became an ordained Presbyterian minister and a
pacifist. Vowing to never harm another human and also dedicating the rest of
his life to trying to help lead children on the right path in life... He hid
away the tattoos and his past life and won our hearts with his quiet wit and
charm..

America's real heroes don't flaunt what they did; they quietly go about
their day-to-day lives, doing what they do best. They earned our respect
and the freedoms that we all enjoy.

Look around and see if you can find one of those heroes in your midst.
Often, they are the ones you'd least suspect, but would most like to have on
your side if anything ever happened.

Take the time to thank anyone that has fought for our freedom. With
encouragement they could be the next Captain Kangaroo or Mr. Rogers..

Papyrus fragments from an Egyptian funerary text known as a Book of the Dead have been discovered in the archives of the Queensland Museum in Brisbane, Australia.
"We are incredibly surprised that we had such a significant object in our collection," museum CEO Ian Galloway told Australian press. The discovery was made recently during a visit to the museum by British Museum Egyptologist John Taylor. While on a tour of the Australian venue's Egyptian collection ahead of its new exhibit Mummy: Secrets of the Tomb (which opened Thursday), Taylor noticed a familiar name — Amenhotep, a well-known ancient Egyptian head of builders — on a fragile piece of papyrus long ago conserved by Queensland Museum curators.

Ancient Egyptians created burial manuscripts known as books of the dead and filled them with spells they felt would help them in the afterlife, as well as images depicting the deceased making the journey into the afterlife. The books were typically papyrus scrolls and were placed in the coffin or burial chamber of the deceased. The wealthier the deceased, the longer his or her Book of the Dead.

Upon further examination of the collection, he confirmed that the ancient scraps were from The Book of the Dead of Amenhotep, an ancient Egyptian official from approximately 1420 B.C.

Darwin award! Wiley Brooks, another ascetic, claims that beef is a five-dimensional food that helps us reach nirvana, and diet-coke is liquid light.. along with the five magic words.. ("live without food or die"?) but you have to know how to pronounce it correctly, and he'll teach you for 1 billion dollars.

The only one who might have a chance of passing all the tests is a man named Prahlad Jani. More than likely, he just hasn't been caught stuffing his face yet. Don't try to emulate these people... Its like the difference between climbing Mt Everest, and living on top of it. Its not in your genes to survive off extremely minimal nourishment, but it might be in his.

A 42-year-old shop owner in the Meilan District of Haikou City, in Hainan, that big island south of mainland China, is dead. A 41-year-old woman killed him. By squeezing his testicles.

Yes, you can die from extreme testicular pain. Here's the scientific explanation, by urologist and San Diego Sexual Medicine's director Dr. Irwin Goldstein. According to witnesses talking to China News 24, the woman was riding a scooter and tried to park it in front of the man's shop. She was going to pick up her son, who attends the elementary school in that neighborhood. The man went out of the shop and told her that she couldn't park her scooter there. She protested and a shouting match started. After a while they started to fight physically. The woman grabbed the man's testicles and squeezed them so hard that the man's system shut down. He collapsed on the ground and died.

Attempts to revive him at the shop and later at the hospital where he was transported, failed.

This will be a lesson to you gentleman. Always wear a protective cup around women. You never know when one will go bat shit crazy and kill you by ball squeezing.

UNIONTOWN, Pa. --
A southwestern Pennsylvania grandmother says she's no marijuana grower, just a woman who wanted something that would look pretty next to her tomatoes.

A Fayette County jury cleared 67-year-old Alberta Kelley of drug possession and manufacture charges on Wednesday after she told them she simply tossed a handful of seeds into her garden after a bearded stranger gave them to her.
Connellsville police charged Kelley a year ago after receiving a tip about Kelley's garden. Investigators say they found seven well-cultivated, four-foot marijuana plants behind her home.

But Kelley claimed she didn't know what she was growing. She said she'd been given the seeds by a stranger in a pointy hat who told her they were flower seeds.

Kelley tells WTAE-TV that to her, "weeds are weeds."

Nice one.

This 67 year old woman was born in 1945 which means she was 22 years old in 1967 and a textbook "baby boomer". And she's the only one on the planet who doesn't know what a cannabis plant looks like?

This is what's called "jury nullification".

The jury didn't think it appropriate to send a 67 year old grandma to jail for what amounts to her own private business, so they let her off claiming this cock-and-bull story.

Unfortunately, if you or I tried the same story, we'd probably be warming the inside of a jail cell.

Egypt’s Islamist-dominated parliament is set to introduce a law allowing husbands to have sex with their dead wives up to six hours after death. Critics fear it highlights a trend of increasingly anti-female legislation since the Arab Spring.

*The “farewell Intercourse” bill was inspired by a Fatwa issued by a Moroccan cleric last year. Zamzami Abdul Bar said that since the two would meet in Heaven again anyway, death shouldn’t get in the way of one last post-mortem marital romp.

Critics have slammed the law as “catastrophic.” Prominent journalist and TV host Jaber al-Qarmouty used his program on Tuesday to lash out at the proposed law.

“This is unbelievable. It is a catastrophe to give the husband such a right! Has the Islamic trend reached that far? Is there really a draft law in this regard? Are there people thinking in this manner,” he lamented on air.

Egypt’s National Council for Women (NCW) also called on Parliament not to adopt this and other measures which they believe increasingly seek to roll back women’s rights.

The NTC further charges that "marginalizing and undermining the status of women would negatively affect the country's human development.”

Along with the rather grim “farewell Intercourse” draft law, parliament is also set to approve legislation that would allow girls as young as 14 to get married.

Lawmakers are also seeking to eliminate a reform implemented over a decade ago that allows women to end unhappy or abusive marriages without interference from their spouses.

NCW head Dr. Mervat al-Talawi sent a message to the People’s Assembly speaker outlining the plight of women in post-revolutionary Egypt.

Apart from the controversial marriage reforms, she also reportedly appealed to parliament not to legislate away a woman’s right to education and employment under the guise of religion, Al Arabiya reports.

But with the Muslim Brotherhood securing the biggest bloc in parliament and posed to take the presidency in next month’s elections, the rights women enjoyed during the Mubarak era may soon be a thing of the past.

Sick if you ask me. Very sick. I truly don't believe God or Allah would want that.
All those years of being rejected trying to get some anal sex with her will be his last goodbye ;).

Talk about a proper send off to wherever they go!

Sorry...couldn't resist.

Does a woman get 72 virgin men? LOL.
