So I'm doing my first ever grow and one of my plants ( special queen #1 from Royal queen seeds) sprouted with both cotyldones on one side. Then just one serrated leaf on the other side now it looks to be growing all crazy mostly to the one side. I just topped it hoping to even it out some. Here are some pics. Has anyone ever seen this? Thoughts on it?IMG_20170502_194235360_HDR.jpg IMG_20170507_094755896_HDR.jpg IMG_20170516_194521742_HDR.jpg IMG_20170516_194611568_HDR.jpg IMG_20170516_194632278_HDR.jpg

I had a pepper plant do that earlier this spring. Doesn't seem to affect much though.

Nice face btw.
Is that referring to the reflection??? Damn Easter egg. I didn't want to just set the metal temp sensor out there because I wasn't sure if the light would heat it up and give a false reading. So I talked one of my kids out of their prized golden egg to put it in.

Look at that awesome retard!! Its going to be an awesome plant, i can tell already.
It looks pretty cool. Do you think topping it was a good idea? I wasn't sure if I should have or not but thought it might help even it out as it's a little heavy on one side. Like I said this is my first grow so hopefully I can keep it alive long enough to enjoy it. I have a journal going at https://www.rollitup.org/t/first-time-growing-hoping-things-go-well.940581/ if anyone wants to tag along. Thanks for the encouragement. When it first sprouted I didn't know what was going to happen and that was the only strain that i only got 1 seed for.

Yeah the reflection. I'm not sure how topping that works, or if it works. Good luck, post pics of it as it grows.

Little plant , big home...its going to take a bit to grow in this case. Its best to level up pots a few times for maximum growth. Looks ok..dont kill it with love or overwater it.

Ya I decided to go straight to my final container to avoid the many transplants because it's my first time and I didn't want to keep shocking them. I've been trying to be careful with watering and waiting for the soil to be mostly dry. It's only once a week at the moment. I'm using fox farm nutes. They say to feed twice a week and use PhD water in between. But I'm only watering once a week. I've been giving them 1/2 strength for the 2 feeding so far I'm just wondering if I should skip the nutes this week and use plain water or if it's ok to keep giving them the small dose. Thanks for the advice

That is a cool looking plant. I, too, had a bit of a gork a while ago. All it's leaves were one sided and tiny. It turned out fine however small it was. It kicked my ass when smoked though so good for the special little peanut. Looking forward to seeing yours grow.
