BioThrive line question

Hello all, been growing outdoor for a few years and am now on my second indoor grow. Is Biothrive organic line less likely to cause nut burn? And what would the major differences be in an organic line and a chemical line? Basically which is more user friendly and has more leeway before the plant is overburdened? I did soil all the way thru my first time, but now wish to try my hand at adding nuts to see the difference and would like to use a line that is not to complex. Don't have as much free time as I use too so I want something that isn't easy to botch up. Thank you in advance for any replies.

I've used the GO products for 2 grows now. Yield is 20-30% less in my experience, but taste and smell is delightful. I use the bio root, bloom, biobud, and biomarine. Really like the bio root and bio bud. The recommended doses were on the light side IMO. I also supplement with molasses, crushed egg shells, and roots organics HPK to give it alittle more Hmph. I think bottled organics is the way to go for someone wanting to dabble in it, it's hard to burn your girls and as long as you can stomach the smell, the end result is delightful. Synthetics you'll get the greater yields, but sacrifice taste and terpenes. In addition the salts sit in the soil, and if you don't flush well, they'll build up causing you a hoard of problems. Organics you'll seldom flush, and if you do your doing nothing but water logging the plant.

You should look into General Hydroponics Floraduo. Another good one is Jacks Classic all purpose and bloombooster combo... both are cheap... 30 bucks/gal for GH and about 25 bucks for 5 pounds of Jacks.

The only difference i see between organics and chemicals is that organics will slow release nutrients.. Chemical nutrients need to be used nearly every watering. I find that chemical and soilless have advantage of being able to have a good idea of the amount of nutrients in the medium.

Apologies for the late response, been stuck in the tent. With all the helpful information I gathered on the internet and from folks here on rollitup, I decided to go with Biothrive, because I just felt it had more forgiveness with over feeding and I ended up throwing a screen over top about 3 weeks into veg (been stuck in the tent because I keep having to pull new growth down but its been worth it.) I believe next grow I will try floranova, I liked what I have read about it so far.
12 ladies and between them there is 8 different strains about 2 weeks into flower. I decided to throw the screen on because it helps maintain size and even lighting, seeing as there is 8 different strains. All seems to be going well, thanks for the information guys

Well none you guys are using organics. If the nutrients came out of a bottle its not organic.. All go and gh has cadmium, arsenic, lead, and mercury. Toxic heavy metals. Running go is the same as running any chems. Companies lie. They have to disclose all info and ingredients to department of agriculture when they register their products for sale in each state. Dry individual nutes, and botanicals is the only way to grow organic. With organics The nutes are not slow release. The plant is in control and feeds what it wants and when it wants. The nutrients are in the soil already. The microbes are breaking down nutes to be readily available for plant uptake.

And that's why I love to grow organic, just get/make good soil, give them a well regulated home and watch them grow.

I always planned to grow one plant using bottled nutes to see the difference between two clones for example, but never got round to it.

Looking good, what kinda space you working with there, lighting, air input/exhaust?

5x5 feet , I figure if the canopy fills out I'll start letting it go up. It's all under two 600 watt air cooled by a 6"inline and another 6" inline exchanges air in the tent stays about 80-86.

Very nice.

Typically, the intake fan is smaller/less powerful than the exhaust fan, do you have negative pressure in your tent, are you sucking out the air slightly faster than the air is going in, when zipped up?

It will be important especially when the weather gets warm, you want to get the hot air and smells, out of there asap when the ladies get stinky.

Good stuff.

Positive pressure in tent right now with an osculating fan to keep air flowing, though I have another 6in inline in place for exhaust for when the weather gets warmer. Intake and exhaust are both speed controlled so I have good control. Also have 6in hepa filter on both, exhaust being carbon. Other then temp and airflow, is there any other reason I would want negative pressure in the tent?

you guys should check out this thread. You will love what you learn from it. I know some of you already have.

Awesome link! Going to do a little more research into it, but I believe this will make an excellent guideline for my next grow. Great information and detail.

Ladies are doing great and I have some autos in there with reg fems. Seems autos do finish a great earlier but the reg are definitely bigger with lots of bud sites. The autos I chose were Ultra Lemon Haze and Trans Siberian, though they are slightly smaller both are budding with good growth. I would say I am happy with the autos so far,but will wait till the end to compare yield and quality with the regs.
Thanks everyone for the info and help so far.
