Biodynamic Sowing and Planting by the Moon

I thought its a good Idea to share this with you guys.....

This is the calender I use for planting sowing etc.

Biodynamics are brought to us by Rudolf Steiner.
If you like organics you should check for his preperations.

He is for gardenening/farming, what Nikola Tesla was for Electronics.

Hope you have benefits from it.
For me it works just fine.
The logic behind is also easy to understand.

Simple Test:
- Use the paper towel method or any other method youre skilled for germination....
1.Try germinate 10 seeds when the calender says its good to sow.....
2.And try 10 seeds when it says its no good.
See the difference.

My friends laughed their asses off when I introduced the above calender to them. Lol
Thay gave me funny names like "moon swami" and asked me to wear a orange cape and a baldy.
Was funny as hell. Lol

But some of em changed their minds after testing it.

Try bachbiodynamics.com I like his calendar better, more trial based considering multiple influence. I'm doing a germination experiment with ryegrass through the upcoming eclipse so, yeah, I belive in biodynamic techniques.

I ' ll check it out.

Found out today that I overlooked that the next good time for Seeds is tomorrow.... was sure it was 1. Feb but I guess ( memo for myself: I should smoke less)

That means my GA3 on old Seeds experiment will start sooner than I believed.

Yes somehow limited....
But why should you start seeds you maybe payd for when its naturally a time to avoid doing so.
I am happy because I dont start any Seeds the wrong time anymore.

Btw. I believe its essential doing it that way for indoor and outdoor.

Look at the oceans they are totally under influence by the moon.
At one time there is Pressure and at the other half of time there is "Subpressure?". Ebb/Flow
Pull/Press ying/yang

I believe that in a "pulling" phase the Plant needs less energy to germinate and to crack the seedshell

Using this "energy plus" for root development and therefor earlier nutrient uptake combined with that right at the right time thing, I suggest will give the plant some noticeable advantages.

Just my 2Cents

The way I look at it 2 days before is when they go into paper towels, hopefully they have sprouted a tail if so they go in dirt on first day of range, use the other days to keep planting as they generate tails.

Doing an experiment with rye grass right now, planting every day until a few days after eclipse......

I start and plant only on days that are optimal.

Example:
1-8 February is a good time
On 1. Feb. soak the seeds using your prefered method.
On 2./3. Feb. You should see a tail or not.
Now I plant the Seeds in dirt.
Next two/three days the small Plant will penetrate the soil surface.
That would be 5./6. Feb.

That would be optimum for germination ....
...and any other following biological processes afterwards are also diled in/linked to the mooncycles as I understand it.

The biological clock of your plant is now in harmony/synchroniced with the bigger stellar clock

I do this as much as possible. It's based on The Farmers Almanac for vegetables- plant in the early spring harvest in the the fall; but that's for single crop per season

Still,I believe we'e all connected and that there is an optimal planting time based on dna awareness

I find the farmers alminac to be more situational and related to crop timing. Though they are similar in some regards, the calendar I posted above tends to indicate a few days out of each month and since it is also globally applicable it dosent matter if you are in northern hemisphere or southern. Biodynamics uses ascention and descention of planetary bodies. For instance last spring was supposed too be a good time to plant oak trees because mercury was in ascention.

There is also controversy within the community, Bach's calendar differs from one put out by Maria Thun a strong figure in bd. I think Bach's is more in line with rudolf steiner's original interpretations.

I to belive like @PetFlora.

Got to think about that...

Closer to Steiner is always good.
You are right on maria thun she influenced a lot and some see her as the Guru but the Guru was Steiner.

Have you read the Seminar documents from the Seminar he gave for farmers?

Man I envy the guy for his Senses and his understanding about the micro/macro link in nature in corelation with the Planetary system.
The greater understanding.of nature and the mechanisms behind all that.
