Bio Buckets?

Has anyone here tried "Bio-Buckets" like the ones posted here:

http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=5816&page=2

It uses massive amounts of beneficial bacteria to produce a bio-regulated environment. Supposedly, it can achieve super-fast grow rates with no reservoir changes, PH adjustments, or chillers.

It sounds great, but how do the results compare with standard hydroponic systems with commercial beneficials?

Any input would be appreciated.

Pretty much everything I have read says its a really big yield boost over DWC or ebb 'n flow, but most of the posts on it are at least two years old.

Some of the newer nutrient systems are already chelated to make the nutrients extremely available, though, and I think that may reduce or eliminate the advantage of this system. I would love to get some input from current users if there are any.

In any case, the fact that it self regulates pretty much every part of the system is a big plus.
