Just my preference, but I always flush, minimum 5 days. Even If I didn`t supplement anything ... precautionary for me

Thanks guys and gals, just thought I'd make an observation that when you get to that middle bit of flowering, this really is a fantastic hobby, I have a psychedelic gleam in my eye every time I look at them, seems like every day something looks a lot bigger or smells better than it did the day before. And no matter how many grows you have under your belt it never ceases to surprise me that within a couple of weeks your mild mannered little green bushy shrub metamorphosises into a stinking triffid like thing of wonder.
Baggins! You are a green fingered genius! I want to grow a Stinking Triffid Like Thing Of Wonder. (i've so got the giggles now) You must teach me the secrets of the Fellowship, Hobbit! Maybe I'll let one of my next batch just do it's own thing, no LST or anything...

Anyway, they look amaze. Lady H x

Well if a flush is good enough for you then its good enough for me, , 5 day flush it is Kush, PS mate wouldn't mind a nod on how you reply to posts with multi quotes from different posts like you do in your cataract thread, Ive yet to figure it out and one reply goes out at a time if required to contributors here. wouldn't mind learning the secrets of multi quoting.

Thank you for your kind words Lady H, actually there was a wee bit of LST went on during vegging in this one, I know you have had your trials and tribulations with your grow, but there is also something to be said for just letting them get on with it occasionally. I cant seem to stop the onset of yellowing leaves no matter what I try, I think its a result of me using biobizz ferts, so yellowing leaves it is for now anyway. When I read your thread I hear the angst in your posts, maybe you should try organic, like biobizz, one good thing about that is that its almost impossible to over fertilise your plants and the same PH issues don't arise as a result of using chemicals. As for learning how to be in the fellowship, you are Lady Helena, daughter of Rivendell, ( And mistress of Darkness in your spare time ) One day you will marry a Prince and peace shall reign over the land.

You`ll be pleased with the flush Bilbo, makes a difference in smoke quality for me. As far as the multi-quotes, just check the button beside Reply With Quote and a checkmark should show overtop. Click as many messages as you wish and hit Reply With Quote on the last one in your list ... will populate all the quotes selected in one message :D. Hope all`s well with you Baggins!

Ty as always Lady H, Hmmmm, giving Epsom Salts as a foliar additive, never heard of that one, I add Epsom Salts into my normal feeding water, every 3 weeks of the grow at a rate of half a teaspoon to a litre, still foliar, maybe that works as well. Yellow leaves if starting from the bottom up is more likely to be Nitrogen deficiency, Magnesium deficiency looks a bit like thisMagnesium Deficiency 1.jpgand you shouldn't get it at all with normal nutes. However in my own case with Biobizz, Biobizz has about four or five products you can buy as additives during the grow, All mix soil, BioGrow and Biobloom and top Maz have all the NPK but trace elements such as Magnesium, Calcium , Iron Etc are in there more expensive additive Bio Heaven. Sneaky trick to make you buy their whole range. Will be over to the '' Here comes the Girls thread soon to catch up on the goings on over there. I look forward to it, its like a horticultural version of '' Holby City '' .

Baggins! I just totally lost it laughing at your Holby City comment.....hahahhahahaha....I see it more like a bit of Carry On Doctor. It would be funny if the stakes weren't so high! Nah, who am I kidding, it is funny.

So yes...the spraying of epsom salts. I read a very interesting thread the other day whereby this chap was saying he believed it was the best wat to apply it when tackling a mag def - which is what I decided I had, as the yellow leaves also had brown spots and this is a symptom of high PH which I had!

Anyway, I decided to give it a go. Combined with the vinegar flush it has worked wonders! All your BioStuff, is that in the UK? I want ot try and be a chem-free as poss. x

Yeah Biobizz is a Dutch company totally organic with a decent reputation. I've heard it said some of the hydro stores stateside sell it too. I dare say there are nutes which will produce better yield, but Ive never had any nute overfeeding using Biobizz, they are made from molasses, seaweed and other organic stuff and its almost impossible to overfeed.

Hi guys n gals seems all I'm doing these days is posting a lot of pics, however this will be a record for myself how these babes looked, Because in another month or so it will be '' The Northern Lights Is Dead '' '' Long Live The Acapulco Gold '' or whatever strain I settle on, Just now much taken with the idea of a C99 Grow, its got to be so popular amongst growers for a good reason , right ?, Acapulco Gold '' appeals to me for probably the worst reason you can think of and that is the name '' Acapulco Gold '' just sounds so old timer hippy name. '' Blue Dream '' is another that the pics gobsmack me. '' Kosher Kush '' as well but am wondering if my growing skills are sufficient to handle a Kush grow. Kush Canucks '' Critical Kush '' appeals to me greatly after seeing them prosper in his excellent thread, but similarly am wondering if Critical Kush would thrive in the Three plants in the closet set up I run. Anyway, I ramble on, been smoking a little doobie of Trainwreck, not my boys but a sister of his from another clone. anyway heres 2 of my NL couple of weeks I reckon from the chop.Nirvana Northern Lights Day 42 Flower Jun 2013 1.jpgLooking smelling nice hard colas, piny lemony smell, sticky, Pity I got to chop them, I wonder if for instance Pig Farmer get a feeling of remorse and shame, when they send little porky to the abbatoir. I feel like this at the thought of chopping my girls, Ive grown quite attached to them, but console my self with the musing that in human terms these girls are like 70 years old, so in fact they have had a not bad innings. Just that kind of instead of them being popped off to the old folks home, they will be popped off to meet their maker.
