Biggest plant drinking up water faster or a problem?

I just watered my 9 week plant real good about 22 hours ago and just lifted the pot and it almost feels dry again..checked my other two plants that are smaller and they feel like there's still water in soil..
Is my bigger plant just drinking up the water faster?
Also been hot days today and yesterday 90+ degrees

Yes. As they mature, they will definitely use more water and the high temps will make it evaporate faster.

If they are getting dry too fast, you may want to transplant to a larger container.

When I transplanted a month or so ago, I could get 5-7 days between watering. Now I'm watering every other day and by the time that flowers start in a couple weeks, I'll be watering daily until they start to slow when they're almost done.

The plant won't be the soil might be tho ; ). Break up the top inch or 2 when you water... and send most of the water right at the stalk slowly

It was coming out the sides alot but I might of been watering too fast ..
I also got a bunch of baby gnats flying around the plants today, since they're so little does that mean I have a infestation and they are just multiplying? I hope this soil I been using didn't have em

It could have been from watering too quickly for sure. If that happened to the one that seems lite after one day it could be that most of the water just ran through it.

as for gnats, being outdoors it happens. Some people find ways to cover the soil whether it be bug net bags or top dressing

I put a little bit of dish soap in the water for all of them in the same gallon that I'm pouring out of if they aren't hydrophobic will it will it cause a problem me putting it in there
