Biggest Little Grow Box

Hey what up guys just wanted to share my grow box I just recently finished. With legalization just around the corner I'm getting everything I can ready to go. My box was designed with a couple things in mind. I wanted it to be discrete (not hidden), small and compact, simple, and easy to maintain. I checked out grow box options and they were way to pricey so I built my own.

36"w x 18"d x 72"t Metal storage cabinet w/ lock and key
light proofed and lined with Mylar
4" exhaust fan with adjustable speed
attached to charcoal filter
Platinum LED P300 on yoyo's
6" desk fan for air circulation (have more when needed)
Warm air humidifier (prob ditching for small heater) dry climate and extreme cold temps right now
3-4 8" smart pots for scrog or just LST to fill 18" x 36" canopy



Hoping to pull 3-4 ounces every 8-12 weeks in combination with veg and clone box.

Looks interesting. You'll have to do a journal and show us your results

It depends on your strains but from 3 plants I pulled about 12oz's of just bud, 15.5 Oz's overall, from a box about that size but shorter. LST and scrog you should easily pull 6oz's in your sleep...

Hi Giantsfan24, I'm currently looking for a strain that does the best in small areas. Preferably with dense nugs for max weight. A friend has some sherbet going in his veg room. Will likely go get some clones from him. Scorg / LST is exactly what the plan is. If I can pull 6oz I will be so stoked. coco medium with canna A&B, cannazym, and Boost accelerator.

I don't see any reason why you shouldn't pull that. It took me a couple of grows to get there just because I was nervous about training but once I got that, and I increased the available light, it was easy. Indica dominant strains are the way to go for small spaces. I'm going to try sativa dominant hybrids next time. The high Indica tends to be a bit couch locky for me.

I noticed a big jump in yield between 250w and 400w hid. Additionally, I defoliated like mad. That helped with yield too. Part of it was for yields but mainly because I had a problem with powdery mildew in my first grow so I started trimming the fan leaves early and installed a tiny dehumidifier to help as well. Worked great.

What small heater are you looking at?

That is the same size of my box. 300w Viparspectra. 2 plants in 5 gal smartpots. About 7 oz great tweed every 8-9 weeks. Have fun

Ill be looking for some input on the setup. My humidity is really low. Without the Humidifier I am at like 20-25%. Any guess on how much humidity the plants will add. I am hoping like 20%
