Bigger, but organic?

I think it's about that time where I need to start giving my girls some nutes. I'm using a mixture of FoxFarm and Happy Frog, about 50/50. 400 watt MH. I wanted to know what are some ways to make them grow out to their full potential without dumping a bunch of chemicals into them. My last harvest was only about 20gs per plant, some even less. I'm open to any advice you guys have. Thanks!

I'd recommend an alfalfa tea. Start with maybe 1/4 to 1/2 cup of kelp meal in a 5 gallon bucket of water. Add 4-5 TBSP of molasses, and a handfull of worm castings. Bubble for 24 hours then drench the soil with it. Dont worry about straining out the solids.

In my opinion, organic is THE ONLY way to grow them out to their full potential. :)

What did you do last round? Maybe we can recommend some changes.

Last round I used FoxFarm only, same 400 watt light, and a small amount of Dr. Hornby's Medi-One. I was afraid of using too much nutrients and burning my girls. They seemed healthy and all, just a disappointing yield, especially because I really enjoyed the strain.

If your using an mh bulb for flowering then I'd change that up. Either with hps or sometthing else ...mh has more of a blue spectrum and hps flowering iighting is warmer, a lot more of the red spectrum which is more of what you want during flowering

I would also recommend AACT, with high P guano (not too much). Also, Azomite which is a wide-spectrum micro\trace element supplement. Mycorrhizae, which is in the Happy Frog at least to some extent but it wouldn't hurt to have another source (i.e. Espoma Bio-Tone Starter Plus, or something).

Other than that, room is properly ventilated? Walls painted white or covered in reflective material? Also, bulbs get less efficient (produce less light) as they age.
