How hot is the intake air?Are you in soil or hydro? You have to exchange the air in the closet to get it at room temps of the room the closet is in.Where are you exhausting the hot air too?Do you have a fan in the closet blowing around?Blow air into the closet and pull air out with another fan.Try venting the exhaust from the light out of that room. PEACE

you need another intake and exhaust just for your grow room, with another oscillating fan inside. it is not enough to just vent your light, as heat will still accumulate in your grow space. :peace:

i was having the same problem with my closet setup but here is what i did and now the temps seem to be around 83!!! yay!. but heres what i did.. i went to wal mart and purchased a stanley 39.99 blower fan... i took a 6 to 4 reducer and stuck it on there. it fits real nice onto the intake part of the fan.. then what i did was connected ducting to the reducer and now i am having that fan suck air from outside of the entire room. i mean ducting is across the floor out the back door.( i live in an appartment). then i have my 170 cfm inline fan sucking air out of the box itself...this exhaust really doestn need to go outside it doesnt matter...but the intake helped so much when i took the air from outside the apartment...i recommend doings something like this... i have a 4'H by 4'W by 1'9" deep space.... a little bigger than yours but try taking the air from out of the house it really helped me alot. i only have 1 intake which is the stanley fan actually blowing air from outside the apartment into the box. if your exhaust fan is powerful enough you might not need to get another fan but you probably will.. i didnt expect to have to buy another one but luckily it was only 40 bucks at wal mart...it should fix any heat problems.

28 C is fine for growing.. dont worry about it if you cant change the temp. Mine (right under the light) is over that.

get a faster fan intake and exhaust. This will help renew your air and help keep cooler temps. You may want to raise your light a little bit to. I am new at this to so not 100% sure but thats what I would try. GOOD LUCK
