Big Bud/White Rhino Grow - Aeroponics Grow

quick question ms, how high do you think the plants grew above the screen it looked to be 6-10'' or so? im wondering cause im gunna try a stealth aero grow in a metal cab thats 3'x4x6' tall with a 600 watt cool tube inside covered in mylar, just trying to see if i have enough room.. -6' tall space - 8" from the cool tube -2' for the res - 1' for the screen height above the plant so im left with roughly 2 feet of bud growth(above screen) im hoping it will work out if not ill ditch the cab and build something..let me know what you think of this set up..thanks +mad rep for this thread it was a great inspiration

ps ill be growing purple widow probly not the best strain for scrog but i just want some purple dank...thanks again
 
The tallest colas were almost 24" above the screen. I could have trained them even lower. You could put the screen much lower than I did and if you topped them I think it would work in your space.

both strains in progress look delicious!:weed:
you should put all three jars side by side, how wide mouthed are the jars you have
i havent seen anything much bigger than a standard size mason jar
 
Well I've been fighting off an attack of spider mites. I think I am ahead of them now but the plants took a good beating. The mother's finest had some trouble with the pump too.

Fucking arachnids. :joint::hump:
 
Here are some pics of the mother's finest... These plants are still hanging on. The bud sites haven't gotten really huge but they still look good.

So far the Rhino hasn't suffered too much from the spider mites. Some leaves are showing damage, but I think the spraying has stopped them.

on a side note though have you smoked the white rhino before? I only ask because some people say it's so stong you can't finish a bowl without feeling nauseous while others say it's overratted/played out. just looking for the truth about it because it looks fire.
 
I think it can be a really strange high. I don't think it is so crazy as far as smoke goes, but as you can imagine, I smoke awesome dope everyday so I think it doesn't hit me as hard.

damn spider mites piss me off.... i had a little attack on them when mine were in veg and it sucked gettin rid of them....... glad your plants have made it through :) have you smoked some of the other grow yet?
 
yeah... the stuff is real heady. it smokes real smooth. It comes on real strong in the beginning. I think it needs to cure longer to get stonier. The shit is really fucking good.

DAMN!!!! thats good nice to know your work has came through for ya! so your gonna cure it longer? I still cant believe you almost had yourself a pound i mean it was damn close you definetly know your shit!
I posted a question for you on the female thread i have. I wanna know when i need to stop the nutrients because on the 30th of this month my plant will be 42 day into flowering and another question about the tricombs i would really appreciate the help if you wouldn't mind checkin out the questions.
 
Here are some pics of the white rhino. The plants took a little hit when the spider mites invaded the garden but they look good now. They are full of trichomes and the hairs on the lower branches are turning orange.

HEY THAT LOOKS SO GOOD! just so ya know I was able to harvest FAYE at 41 days actually today i finished harvesting and i didnt get a whole hell of a lot on that one (and new it) but gonna be at least 6 packed cigars so thats good enough, my tricombs were either amber or champaine looking oh they were so sweet. I cant wait to see the yield from your gurls this time around....... and i will let youknow how much angel gave me as she is soon to follow :D
 
41 days is fast. what variety is she?

here are the mother's finest clones. i lost one of them to the spider mites. i am flushing with fresh water today. I am planning to cut down in ten days.

It is stinky... it smells almost like pine needles. honestly though... my big bud was much stinkier. my carbon filter keeps up pretty well with the rhino. thanks for checking out my grow
