Big Bloom and water mixture expiration???

Hello, I’m growing for the first time and using Fix Farm’s Big Bloom (1/2 strength) on week 2 of my seedling’s life (planted in a fabric pot). I presume I should not drench the pot with the entire gallon mixture of big bloom since it’s just one seedling and I don’t want to overwhelm her roots. So, my question is: can I save the big bloom mixture and use it over the course of multiple feedings until the gallon is empty? Do I have to get rid of excess? Is there an expiration? Help!

Just do the math and mix less.

What medium are you using?

If you are using soil. Don't use it at all while your plant is a seedling.

Thank you! I’m using fox farm Ocean Forest soil. I guess my actual question is that I have a gallon of water and big bloom mixture still pretty much full since I didn’t sop my plant. Is it ok to continue to use this premix leftover or will the big bloom mixed with water expire and be less effective when left to sit? Can I continue to use this excess mixture over the course of my next few feedings since I’m not using up all of the gallon mixture?

For extra clarification, I have done the math and I made my water big bloom mix. My plant loved it! I just have so much leftover since I made a gallon’s worth for just one plant. Do I have to throw this mix away and a in a couple of days make a new gallon mix only to throw that excess away?

I appreciate you taking the time to help me out with this.

Good morning.

Personally I don't let my nute mix sit out.

If you are in fox farms ocean forest and are only 2 weeks into a seedling. You absolutely should not be giving any nutrients until the plant is 5 weeks unto life and exploding with growth.

The soil will have more than enough for a while. Adding more nutrients at this point will only cause issues.

If you are on ocean forest, and it's a seedling.. toss the mix out. You won't need anything yet. Maybe some calmag in 2-3 weeks. KISS as a seedling. It's the most important stage.

Great advice! I appreciate it. So only feed during veg and flowering?

Kinda. The soil has enough nutrients to take care of your plant for 4-6 weeks depending on the situation.
Adding nutrients while the soil still has not depleted the nutrients its holding will harm your plants.

Do you have a pic of the seedling by chance?
