Big Big Watering Problem. Plants look Wasted! Any Help Appreciated!

Hi,

I am 6 weeks into Flowering 6 plants on a Hydroponic Watering System. I checked my plants last night and they all looked very healthy, infact the best grow that I have done so far! I have gone in tonight and DISASTER!

My water pump has stopped working and it looks like my plants have been trampled on. They are pretty much leaning completely to the floor. The roots and blocks are bone dry, so it must have been broken all last night when the lights were on and then all day today.

Any suggestions on possibly saving the plants would be greatly appreciated. I have made a make shift water pump that should be ok till morning. Should I leave it running all the time, or put it on a timer? Dont want to flood them, but wanna make sure they are getting enough to maybe spring back a bit! Or am I wasting my time?

Should I have the lights on, or will it dry the leaves out?

As I say, any suggestions at all would be greatly recieved!!

what type of hydro system? NFT, Top Drip, Ebb/Flow, Aero?
turn the lights off if things are wilted...
get the roots watered.. get a new pump - don't do makeshift stuff unless this is not important.

when you kick the lights back on, raise em up to the ceiling to go easy on your plants for a day or two..

It is hard to say what is going on without knowing the type of system, the type of pump, the reservoir size, the nutes you use, the lighting involved, air conditioning, dehumidifier, ventilation... it is really hard to say without knowing anything really at all about your grow.

keep watering the roots until u get a new pump. u need to keep the root zone moist and dnt let it completely dry out. but u need to wet them roots quick if u want 2 save them.
