Big big problem..

:!: :!: :!: I was trying to raise my 250w HPS today and it slipped out of my hand and the ballast end of the set up landed directly on my girl... snapping the main stem.. i taped it up, do you think it will survive?!?! any tips? :-(

race to your nearest store and buy 2 popsicles lol lick them up and then wash them place them on either side of broken stem if you got any rooting compound or gel put some on it you then use saran wrap and tightly rap up your stem around popsicle sticks i think that would work monitor it for like a week if you see her starting to droop then you might as well cut it off you damaged the vascular veins

I'm so upset! :( But at least I LST'd 3 weeks ago and i have a bunch of fairly good sized shoots comin up.. but the main stem was so beefy.. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that she makes it..

I have a tomato plant that suffered a broken branch. I used two halves of a popsicle stick and an actual band-aid to splint the wound. The plant healed enough to set fruit. Once the ripened tomatoes were picked the leaves on this branch began to wilt and die, so I cut it off. The plant is still producing :) .

I hope you are able to fix your girl. If there's enough growth to take a cutting or two you may want to do that just in case. Good luck!
