add the alcohol after so it doesnt blast out of the dish, im guessing you open blast and the first rush is just pressurized gas and can make a mess. I dont agree with the above statement. If you blast then add the alcohol itll thin the butane mixture so it almost instantly gets rid of the butane/ Im open for conversation, im no pro at this.

nope not at all. I have been doing this for a long time and recently tested my honey wax. it wax 59 ppm butane, (not 590 which would still be great, ) 59. It was 84% THC 9 including the A. SO my uninformed and frankly...stupid looking friend...no. your just completely wrong on every level. When you work with the substance and see it and feel it as i do... you learn to understand it and it will give you the product you want, no vac, no ethanol required. If you are so so sure im wrong, give me your address ill send you some of the "wrong" substance and you tell me its not perfect and well go from there...ha. i promise you my butane honey oil is of the highest quality and there was no ethanol or alcohol of any kind used not was there a vac chamber used.

Who has 14 hrs worth of stirring anything every 15 minutes in them.

well if you add the alcohol your 14 hours will take 5 minutes or less to get ALL the butane out. But then you still have to get rid of the alcohol. The thread is about blasting into the alcohol, I suggested adding it after, but while the butane is still liquid. its a 5 year old thread and thats why I got annoyed after responding. My comment was based on the 64 stirring events without sleeping.

Correct, they dont mix, the alcohol makes the butane evaporate rapidly and go into the air.

Got a question when making live resin frezing my materiel right after chop down then blasting after frozen for 24hrs blast right in freezer very clean product but smells an tastes like the weed befor it's cured why is this do you know?

You can do this, but in my opinion it is better to do it in steps. If you blast straight into EtOH, it may be difficult to visually tell when most of the butane has evaporated. Then you may be sticking a container of EtOH mixed with butane into the freezer, where the butane will remain a liquid and may surprise you the next day. What I like to do is blast into a container until I see the butane almost all gone (gooey 'tane soup stage), then pour in EtOH heated on a double boiler for a quick "purge." EtOH boils at ~78C while butane boils at -1C so I believe this should almost immediately get rid of most of the remaining butane.

You can do it without using poler solvent just blast into a frozen jar an stick in freezer with lid on (loose) so you don't blow the jar up an you can winterize it in the butane you used to blast with called single solvent winterizing you don't lose any flavor or smell this way an you decide wax it
 
Yes it can be done. Not how I do it but it can be done. Why? If it ain't broke don't fix it. Ya know? Do it in steps like you're supposed to. Or be brave and experiment! If u do let me know how it goes. I'm too chicken.
 
Ok, quick question, if you make bho, heat at 85 to boil off the butane, run through a vac, and muffin a few times to get a puddle, then what?
Options.
What will give me the highest quality product to dab?
Winterize by adding everclear to pirex dish, placing in freezer, cover with plastic wrap (poke hole to breath and 48 hours later pour and scrap dish as I strain through a coffee filter and strainer into second dish then heat at 90 degrees until it's evaporated?
Then what? Do I put back into vac and continue the under pressure until a good consistency?
Then what?
I have smeared onto parchment paper and continued to vac for more clear shatter consistency.
Or
Just stored it into silicon with decent results.
Am I missing any other easy steps to get a better product?
