Doing a flush on one of my four ladies this evening, and I was checking out all the pretty flowers. They're about three weeks into 12/12 now, so it's been weeks since I culled the two males from the group. So of course, I should be seeing nothing but female flowers, right? RIGHT?
Okay, here's one side:
And here's the other side:
I found TWO sacs, but only ONE sac under each flower. The flowers they were hiding under were oddly EXACTLY opposite each other on the plant. That is, imagine two colas right opposite each other on the main stem, then go up the colas till you get to the third fan leaf / node. The sacs were at the same point up the colas.
I cut the sacs off, very carefully. Then I inspected the whole rest of the plant and didn't see anything else suspicious.
So, is this a hermie that will give me no end of trouble (and pollen), or is this just a one-time thing? I don't really want to kill the plant, as it's, well, really a good plant (you know, other than the balls).
I guess my choices are:
- Bud

I guess my choices are:
- Chop it, dry it, and make cannabutter out of it, or ...
- Chop JUST those colas off, and watch the rest of the plant carefully, or ...
- Just watch the plant carefully.
