bet you can't do worse...

... so, i was trying an experiment to do a 12/12 from seed grow. i was also trying to see what happens if you start off with the final pot size to avoid transplanting. and i am doing that in a room with a plant about three weeks from finishing. i am also trying co2 for the first time.

well then, the room got up to 90f from the co2 burner before i got it right. then i was worried that the low humidity of my flowering room (35%) was hurting the 12/12 sprouts. then i find that the large pots retain water forever if they only have a sprout.

what i have now are 5 heat-stressed, humidity deprived, wet-roooted three inch high sprouts as shown in the pic. the older growth is completely limp and the new growth looks deformed.

so, what's the prognosis?

Your sprouts are looking for humidity, you got that right. They're not gonna suck up water as sprouts either. Which leaves you with an overwatering problem. They're gonna stress as youngins in that 12/12 cycle till they harden (and dry), but you should be fine they'll grow and then flower when they are ready. (Assuming they dont die from stress first)
I would assume the tap root would've shot strait to the bottom creating most of its root ball there. I personally like to transplant. I do it right before it begins to root bound. Although, transplanting slows up productivity sometimes. This stimulates the roots.
I like the hydroton pebbles on the top of your soil... I use those and perilite on top of mine. Helps with alot of things (soil gnats, soil fungus/mold, moisture control and watering)

yes on the watering problem so i've been misting the leaves and stuck a humidifier in there over night and got the humidity up to 70% just for last night.

i always have before and am just experimenting with no transplanting. not something i'm likely to repeat, transplanting is easy and it's tough to keep the conditions right for a sprout in a large container.

anybody have any idea how i can help these guys other than getting the problem out of the equation and leaving them the hell alone? but i'm not going to compromise the environment that my flowering carmelicious plant wants to save the surprise seeds i also got from Amsterdam Marijuana Seeds. neither i am willing to move them into my vegging room because that would defeat the purpose of the experiment.

so, what emergency help would u guys suggest?
