im realy confused on the whole planting seeds in the aero garden i waz wondering if u put the ling white thing up or down pleaz help tryin to plant sum new seeds too day????

now the white thing im talking bout is long an pops out the seed so ur saying wen i pl place the white thing faceing down towards the water???

ok..... 1 thing im still not too sure bout...if the root is small and the seed is still intact do you put it in the bottom of the sponge so the root is already stickin out?or near the top so the root has to grow before reaching the exit on the sponge

cuz wuts happening to me is i get a little root and put in the sponge so the seed is near the surface then when the seed pops and the little leaves come out it seems like my liittle root stops growing and then nothing happens...ne ideas?

Do you have any of the brown AG sponges? I don't know what kit you have.
I got the Master Gardener kit with my AG. The grey sponges seems to be a bit to tight. The brown ones seem to allow the roots to take hold easier and break out the bottom sooner.

used to make a hole in bottom of sponge but think it takes longer becuase the root has nothing to grap on to so it just gets longer and longer until side roots develop and the leaves can than push them selfs up
